The New York Knicks are reportedly shopping forward Mindaugas Kuzminskas.
Ian Begley of ESPN.com reported the news Tuesday, noting New York has reached out to other teams. However, “the interest level in Kuzminskas, who hasn’t been part of the Knicks rotation this season, is unclear,” Begley wrote.
The motivation behind a potential trade lies in the need to create a roster spot for Joakim Noah.
Begley explained Noah is set to return Monday from his 20-game suspension for taking a banned substance, but the Knicks have 15 players with guaranteed contracts on the roster and need to open a spot for him with a corresponding move.
The New York Knicks have won 6 of their last 7 games and that is all about to go downhill when slow ass lazy ass unathletic ass Joakim Noah returns from his suspension from taking steroids last season. Team chemistry is through the roof and now the Knicks have to lose a player to make room for a FOURTH center in the 2017 NBA where teams are playing small ball.
I’m clearly upset about this.
I know Mindaugas Kuzminskas isn’t even active on a nightly basis but I need to see that curly haired Lithuanian firecracker in his sharp suits on the sidelines celebrity Kristaps Porzingis Alley-Oops more than I need to see Joakim Noah getting beat for every rebound because he physically cannot leave the floor when he attempts to jump.
I’ve said it before and I’ll scream it at the top of my lungs at center court in Madison Square Garden: JOAKIM NOAH IS A TRASHBAG.
So what should the New York Knicks do with their roster when Joakim Noah returns?
Cut. Him.
Yes, I know they will still be responsible for his $70 million contract and their cap space will be destroyed if they attempt to waive him but shrug.gif. You can’t trade him because no one will take on that salary unless Franky Ntlikina or a first-round draft pick is attached.
I will say this, if the Knicks can promise me that when Noah returns, he will be inactive then yea, get rid of Ramon Sessions. I still cannot believe he was the starting point guard on opening night. I’m not going to blame him for the loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder but like, I’m going to blame him for the loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Get Joakim and/or Ramon Sessions out of here and play Jarrett Jack 48 minutes a night.
