The Savage Era Has Begun in Houston

Welcome to the Tom Savage era, ladies and gentlemen. Brock Osweiler decided that he was going to sign a huge contract and then pretend like he’s never played quarterback before in his life sooo Houston Texans head coach, Bill O’Brien, decided to unleash the beast.

After throwing back-to-back interceptions, Osweiler was yanked and Tom Savage came into a game on Sunday night in which the Jacksonville Jaguars were up 13-0 over the Texans.

Savage was having none of that.

Tommy Terrific stepped in during the second quarter and led the Texans to a 21-20 victory. Houston is now tied for 1st place of the AFC South with the Tennesee Titans and I know for a fact this team will be making the playoffs with Tommy Touchdowns behind center.

Now, the New England Patriots are clearly the class of the AFC. The Raiders and the Chiefs are devouring each other but there’s room for a new contender to rise. I think today we just saw a Super Bowl favorite emerge.

Tom Savage will lead the Texans to the dance. You heard it here first. Unless they miss the playoffs in which case just pretend I never wrote this.
