Odell Beckham is out with a bruised quad, seemingly out of nowhere and the Giants have decided to keep him in New York as the team travels to Washington this Sunday. That means one thing and one thing only.
The New York Giants saw that both quarterbacks for the Redskins have broken fibulas and that means Mark Sanchez will be the starting QB1. Yes, in 2018, Mark Sanchez is starting an NFL and the only way New York could ensure they lose to him was to place Landon Collin on injured reserve earlier this week and now keep ODB at home.
Earlier this week I wrote about the Giants chances to make the playoffs.
Now they’re playing with their arms tied behind their back. If Odell is home, that means the best quarterback on the team won’t be in uniform.
Bad news: Giants won’t make the playoffs.
Good news: They are about to make a historic run to the first overall draft pick.
sidenote: As much as I want them to tank, if Mark Sanchez beats the New York Giants, I am officially an XFL fan and the NFL wont exist to me anymore.
Thanks for reading. Tweet to @theLesterLee if you think the Giants can still get the top pick. Also, go ahead and throw Deadseriousness a Like on Facebook so that I can keep the lights on around here at HQ.
