Brian Cashman is undefeated. OF COURSE, he had his receipt saved and was able to send Chase Headley back to San Diego. He’s been waiting a couple of years to pull the trigger on this and finally, Chase is gone.

With his $13 million off the books, the Yankees are somehow managing to save money even after trading for the most expensive hitter in baseball. Headley sucked. I loved how hard he ‘tried’ but once Todd Frazier came to town and Greg Bird was healthy, Headley joined Jacoby Ellsbury on the richest bench in the majors.

Chase Headley is so bad that the Yankees would rather have no third baseman on the roster than Headley. Aaron Boone might go out there and play the corner. He’s going to be just as bad as Headley but when Game 7 of the ALDS rolls around, Boone is going to turn up.
