The Major League Baseball Players Association is investigating agent Jason Wood after he allegedly filmed some of his clients while they were showering, FanRag Sports’ Robert Murray reported Wednesday.
According to Murray, one of Wood’s clients discovered a camera in the shower at Wood’s home. CSE Talent, for whom Wood worked, reportedly fired him upon learning of the allegations.
Murray also reported a number of players have severed ties with Wood. According to ESPN.com’s Jerry Crasnick, there’s a “feeding frenzy” for Wood’s former clients who are seeking new representation.
Crasnick listed Tampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Jake Odorizzi and Seattle Mariners reliever David Phelps among Wood’s clients in MLB. He also represented Colorado Rockies prospect Riley Pint, who was the fourth overall pick in the 2016 draft, and Boston Red Sox outfielder Andrew Benintendi.
Yikes. It’s hard out here for sex offenders these days. You can’t even record your clients showering anymore in peace. 2018 is wild. How are you supposed to be a sexual predator when everyone you prey on is going to be a little bitch about their ‘privacy’? LAME.
Jason Wood just wanted to watch Andrew Benintendi shower. So what? That’s his client. It’s all in a day’s work. Wood makes you millions of dollar and in exchange, he gets to fap to the hidden cam footage of your butt. So it goes. That’s called a partnership. No loyalty these days.
This is why you get into the business. You think Scott Boras doesn’t have hours upon hours of footage of Alex Rodriguez and Bryce Harper showering at his house? Don’t be naive. You know exactly what you’re getting into when you’re showering at your agent’s house. When Jason Wood is anxiously begging for you to shower, you do it because free agency is coming up and homeboy is going to get you paid.
Ugh, when will this witch hunt on men END?!?!?
Thanks for reading. Leave a comment if you think Andrew Benintendi probably enjoyed this. Also, go ahead and throw Deadseriousness a Like on Facebook so that I can keep the lights on around here at HQ.
