Just when you thought it was safe to go outside again, BAM. Atlanta drops bombs on ya moms and trades for Mike Dunleavy. No one is safe in the NBA anymore. The Hawks have put together a super team right under all of our noses.
None of us will ever forget where we were when we read the news that the Hawks acquired Mike Dunleavy. One day, there may be an ESPN 30 for 30 about the night that changed the course on NBA history.
I’ll always remember I was on the LIRR. Empty beer cans at my feet and an annoying 8-year old kid who kept touching everything sitting in front of me. I was texting a former girlfriend pretending to care about her work problems so that I could one day maybe hump her again when all of a sudden a got an alert on my phone.
Kyle Korver to the Cavs.
I mean, I had to wait like, 35 more minutes before anyone even reported that Dunleavy was a part of the deal but real g’s do in fact move in silence like lasagna. And just like that, the Hawks became the Eastern Conference favorites.
Thanks for reading. Tweet to @TheLesterLee if you think the Atlanta Hawks are a real threat in the East now. Also, go ahead and throw Deadseriousness a Like on Facebook so that I can keep the lights on around here at HQ.
