Needing to boost the talent and depth on their roster, the Dallas Mavericks will reportedly be making a run at free-agent brothers Jrue and Justin Holiday this summer.
On Wednesday, Sports Illustrated’s Jake Fischer reported the Mavericks “have emerged as serious contenders” to sign Jrue and Justin.
The Mavericks have made one thing very clear in recent years, they love signing people’s brothers. Their current starting point guard is Steph Curry’s lame little brother who looks like Sid from Ice Age. Mark Cuban is all about selling tickets and he knows how to market two brothers.
Last season Justin Holiday had career highs in almost every stat category while playing for the New York Knicks. Both Holiday brothers are currently targets for New York in free agency so as a Knicks fan I reallyyyy hope Dallas pulls the trigger and brings them in.
Jrue Holiday is demanding a max contract even though he is injury prone and incapable of playing a fill 82 game season. Get Jrue Holiday and Derrick Rose and all of these bum point guards away from Madison Square garden.
That Jrue Holiday/Seth Curry backcourt is going to burn the NBA to the ground. Splash Brothers 2.0.
Thanks for reading. Tweet to @TheLesterLee if you think the Dallas Mavericks will sign the Holiday brothers. Also, go ahead and throw Deadseriousness a Like on Facebook so that I can keep the lights on around here at HQ.
