We all just want to work jobs that we are passionate about — a career that gets us out of bed in the morning and excited about going to work. Alexander Copeland, 52, was off-duty but loved his job so much that he just had to get behind the wheel, and nothing could stop him… Even the fact that he was absolutely shitfaced.
Copeland failed a sobriety test and was arrested, police said. He had a blood-alcohol reading of 0.20 percent, more than double the legal limit of 0.08, police said.CBS
Like I said, when you’re passionate about your work, it doesn’t matter how much you drank. You just need to work. You crave it. Having said that, I’m sure by the time the cops pulled him over he had no idea he was even behind the wheel of a bus.
It just sucks that he’ll be behind bars and won’t be able to drive buses, but knowing how much he loves his job, I’m sure he’ll find a way to get the behind the wheel one more time. Blackout drunk or not. Probably drunk though.
