Trying Really Hard Not To Laugh At Janoris Jenkins Getting His Car Stolen

janoris jenkins

Look, there is no place in this world for crime. Stealing is bad or whatever. Don’t take things that don’t belong to you and blah blah. The Ten Commandments. You get it.

But when former New York Giants corner, Janoris Jenkins, goes on Twitter and asks for help in finding his Rolls Royce, it’s difficult for me to not point and laugh at that newly carless asshole.

Tennessee Titans cornerback Janoris Jenkins returned from a trip to West Palm Beach, Florida, to find his 2016 Rolls-Royce Wraith was stolen from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta. Jenkins reported the car missing on Wednesday.

Jenkins said he parked the $250,000 vehicle in the south economy lot at Hartsfield-Jackson on May 5 before catching the flight to Florida.

This stinks or whatever but honestly all this story does is remind me of when Jenkins basically quit on the Giants a couple of years ago after a season of being beaten so badly by receivers that he wasn’t even in the camera frame for their receptions.

Oh, and then he went on Twitter and called a Giants fan a ‘retard’.

And that’s wrong for the obvious reason but what bothered me most was that afterward, he attempted to blame the neighborhood he grew up in and said we don’t understand what it’s like growing up where he did.

Yes, we ALL grew up in eras when the word was okay to use and now thanks to the internet, people who were ignored for decades now have voices and communities loud enough to correct us on offensive words and phrases.

It has nothing to do with where you grew up and by saying that, Jenkins was pretty much saying that it’s a black people thing which puts me in a position where I have to answer to Jenkins’s ignorance because he put the onus on us instead of simply swallowing his medicine and admitting to his mistake.

If everyone says you’re being a dick, just say ‘yeaaa you’re right. My bad’ instead of attempting to excuse yourself with bullshit.

Sorry about your car though.

Random Stray Janoris Jenkins Thoughts:

  • I recognize that I may be bitter about Jenkins being an All-Pro cornerback TWICE with the Rams before joining my beloved Giants and then instantly falling off a cliff athletically.
  • One time I went out and lost my car. I called the police the next day and he drove me to where I last parked it. My car was right there. I got drunk and forgot. Maybe that’s what happened with Janoris too.
