15 Thoughts On Aaron Rodgers Hijacking the 2023 NFL Offseason

aaron rodgers

Aaron Rodgers is dominating the 2023 NFL Offseason and I have some thoughts about all this foolishness…

1. Aaron Rodgers led the Green Bay Packers to a Super Bowl victory in 2011.

2. He hasn’t been to a Super Bowl since. It’s been 12 fucking years since Aaron Rodgers played in a Super Bowl yet we continue to talk about him joining the New York Jets as if they automatically become title favorites despite the man turning 40 years old this season and playing for an organization that has only played in one Super Bowl, the first one ever in 1969.

3. Now, there are Jets fans who are telling themselves that two of the previous 3 Super Bowl champions won by acquiring an aging star and placing them on their already stacked roster. The Bucs got Tom Brady and the Rams got Matty Stafford. And yes sure, that did occur. No denying that.

4. I guess the big difference is when Tom Brady walks into a locker room, he forces his TB12 fitness method on his teammates which could be annoying, perhaps, but at the end of the day he just wants everyone to be healthy and in great shape. Aaron Rodgers walks into a locker room and he gives you links to websites that give your computer viruses and explain how the moon landing was faked.

5. It’s also been documented that Aaron Rodgers is a dick to young teammates. So yes, the Jets have a pretty good roster but that’s primarily based on the performances of young guys that Rodgers will 1000% be complaining about before we even get to Week 1.

6. It is infuriating to me that Rodgers tried to wield power over the NFL and was essentially given the power solely because there are 32 NFL Owners who refuse to pay Lamar Jackson the guaranteed money he’s asking for in order to prove some point.

7. Jets owner, Woody Johnson, has no problem being held hostage by Rodgers and being told what players he needs to sign first before Rodgers joins them but we can’t let that black guy—who is absolutely a better football player than Aaron Rodgers—have any leverage or power.

8. I mean shit, why aren’t the Packers interested in Lamar? Jordan Love has done nothing to prove he’s good enough to build your entire franchise around and Lamar revitalized the Baltimore Ravens from day one.

9. And you wouldn’t have to deal with Rodgers off the field who is somehow under the impression that we are all sheep and he is the only one who sees the world the way it really is. He doesn’t need the Covid-19 vaccine because he has his own cocktails and formula he brews at home. He knows more than all of the doctors across the fucking planet who were administering it.

10. Aaron Rodgers is the man who took a stand against Big Pharma, or whatever the hell he believed he was doing, and directly said that Johnson & Johnson was responsible for Rodgers being cancelled and attacked by a ‘woke mob’ and all of the other buzzwords you hear when you only get your information from the guy who used to host Fear Factor.

11. You know who runs Johnson & Johnson? Woody…Johnson. Owner of the New York Jets. It’s almost as if Aaron Rodgers doesn’t fucking believe in anything and simply didn’t get vaccinated because he thinks his intelligence is measured by how contrarian he is and when the media actually presses him and asks him to elaborate on his stupid garbage takes, he makes up bullshit to make himself the hero and main character of the story.

12. And I think that explains his hate of the media and his desire to control his own narrative via the Pat McAfee Show.

Mind you, there is nothing Adam Schefter or Diana Russini reported that wasn’t true. Rodgers asked the Jets to sign some of his friends and uh, the Jets signed Allen Lazard…just like Rodgers asked him too.

13. When you think you’re the victim of everything everywhere all at once then you are going to constantly find reasons to complain and cry about how unfair the world is. Boo hoo, they’re making me take medicine that my favorite podcast hosts won’t take waaahhhh.

14. And I just want to end with one thing: You might want to mute and/or block every Jets fan in your life. Zach Wilson sucked last season but Jets fans treated him as if he was Christian Hackenberg-level. He played poorly like a lot of young QBs tend to. It happens. But it was the end of the world every time he failed to convert a third down.

What do you think is going to happen when Rodgers inevitably fails, especially going against, Von Miller and the Bills twice, Bill Belichick twice and now Jalen Ramsey and the new-look Dolphins secondary twice?

15. Aaron Rodgers is a loser who thinks he’s the smartest person in every room he walks into but he just paid thousands of dollars to sit in a dark cave and do ketamine. Loser behavior. If Rodgers had the same amount of money, was 15 years younger and didn’t play in the NFL, he would’ve been trapped on an island eating a lettuce sandwich and posting Instagram stories about how disappointing Fyre Fest was.
