Ja Morant Should Be Suspended All Season For Waving a Toy Gun on Instagram

After receiving an 8-game suspension for waving a gun at a strip club shirtless on Instagram live, Ja Morant was seen once again pulling out a gun on Instagram live. Prior to the start of the NBA Finals, NBA Commissioner, Adam Silver, told us he had more information regarding the latest gun incident but didn’t elaborate further in fear of distracting from the Finals.

But this week, we may have learned what that new information was.

Apparently, Ja Morant’s team is claiming Ja pulled out a fake gun on IG live so no one was in danger and it was all fun and games.

There was a report a few months ago about Ja’s boys pointing lasers at the Indiana Pacers team bus following a game as if to simulate the laser at the end of a gun but similar to this story, they were only using laser pointers and playing little fun games.

We all remember what happened to the boy who cried wolf, right?

That wolf ripped that boy to shreds while everyone ignored his shrieks for help because he played too much.

At some point, this 23-year-old adult needs to realize it’s not cute to pretend to be a shooter because there are real shooters out there who do not have the time or patience to discern whether or not your gun is a toy and they won’t hesitate to bring war to your front door over a toy.

But that’s a personal problem Ja has to deal with. We’ve psychoanalyzed him to death.

I don’t want to participate in those conversations right now.

I’ve already written plenty about this dork.

I instead want to focus on his impending suspension coming up.

We can all make fun of him for deciding his best excuse was to claim the gun was a toy but let’s take him at face value and say it truly was only a toy.

Waving a toy gun weeks after you were suspended for pulling out a gun is astronomically worse than waving a real gun twice.

Ja Morant had to sit down with the commissioner to apologize and say he’d never do this shit again. He even went into whatever strange rehab program they forced him into for a few days.

Pulling out a gun after all of that nonsense would mean Ja has some serious problems he needs actual work fixing.

But pulling out a toy gun means he knows exactly what he’s doing and he’s being an asshole who is intentionally breaking the rules and disrespecting the commissioner of the league that pays him millions of dollars to dunk and griddy.

If I’m Adam Silver, I’m suspending Ja Morant for the whole ass season. You don’t get to play in my face like that. Everyone is concerned he may have a drinking problem or some deep emotional distress he needs assistance dealing with.

Nope. Ja is a dickhead who is doing everything in his power to be like, the class clown amongst his loser friends who don’t have nearly as much to risk as the superstar they are fortunate enough to be riding around with.

It’s time to teach this dweeb a real lesson. If Ja would rather threaten teenagers and fake gangbang than play basketball then let’s give him a full year off to focus on his off-court passions. It’ll be like when David Stern secretly suspended Michael Jordan for gambling and he ran to go play baseball but instead of Ja playing in the minor leagues, he’d be spending his year off fighting mall security guards and doing TikTok dances with his corny ass friends.

Until we get Jenny Jones boot camp back, the best we can do is suspend Ja for a year and hope it scares him straight.
