With the midterms only a couple months away, Democrats poised to take back both the House and Senate—Democratic minority leader of the House, Hakeem Jeffries, cozies up with the opposition, discussing “potential areas of common ground” when he should be turning up the heat and melting all MAGA from DC.
Even if your most generous interpretation of their meeting was Jeffries’s attempt at good-faith negotiation with the Republican Party—that same Republican Party has shown nothing but bad faith in return, only surrounding ground when several judges rule they must.
Nothing about Donald Trump’s life indicates a man willing to compromise. His petty dispute with Canada, raising tariff prices against them unprovoked, is skyrocketing the price of toilet paper. For no reason. Just because he doesn’t like Canada this week.
The only way to perceive Jeffries’s meeting with Jared Kushner was as surrender.
Hakeem Jeffries has only surrendered.
He and Chuck Schumer had one grand plan: Let Donald Trump do whatever they want, then Democrats should win by default, without having to convince voters of any specific plan or idea or vibe.
They failed to measure the effects a DECADE of MAGA will do to voters, who are no longer interested in the status quo.
In a month, millions will be attacked by their health insurance—hundreds of thousands will be priced out of their ability to see a doctor as Donald Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill passed with no hassle whatsoever. Barack Obama went to hell to get the Affordable Care Act through Congress. Trump’s bill stripped healthcare from people and Hakeem Jeffries had no plan or measure to even slow it down.
He came out and said he’ll never vote for Medicare For All.
As the Democratic voter base becomes more progressive—their stomachs turned watching Israel rain fire on Palestinians as Democratic leaders smear anyone critical of the systematic destruction of a society. Voters terrified of ICE vans and masked high school dropouts pointing guns at anyone who looks at them wrong—as Democratic leaders like Kamala Harris promise to *also* go hard on illegal immigration.
Democratic voters want change and Hakeem Jeffries meets with Jared Kushner at night to plot how to disrupt that change.
So we have to argue about Hasan Piker and Enes Kanter’s WNBA dreams and every policy and worldview outside of total blind allegiance to billionaires and Israel deemed “radical” and “extreme”—candidates wanting Americans to have medicine turned into punchlines by Democratic leaders rich off blood money, fat, stepping over the homeless, begging us to vote for them so they may contnue providing us absolutely nothing but more data centers and measles.

Jared Kushner is in some dark, hookah-smoke-filled warehouse, hammering home the details to a 9-figure wealth transfer into the Trump estate in exchange for weapons or real estate investments, displacing the poor, enslaved citizens of these unethical Middle Eastern dynasties, ignoring Hakeem Jeffries’s annoying texts like “Should I buy more Palantir stock now? Did your father-in-law agree to the government contract yet? Hello? Jared?? SHOULD I BUY??!”
