Tommy DeVito is Bad For The NFL

I’ve been a New York Giants fan my entire life. This used to be an organization of class and sportsmanship. It was a franchise you could be proud to support. You used to be able to bring your family to the game and your wife and children could enjoy the experience. Well, until undrafted rookie quarterback, Tommy DeVito, took over.

An NFL quarterback should be dressed for work, not for the strip club after. Whatever happened to being a professional? The quarterback is the CEO of the team. He shouldn’t be dressed like he’s starring in a hip hop music video.

DeVito has brought his little New Jersey entourage with him on the sidelines. The man should be with his team, perhaps leading a pre-game prayer. Or huddled up with the coaches going over the game plan one more time before the opening kick but instead, he’s hanging out with his homies probably planning the after-party and calling the local pharmacy to ask if they have any more promethazine. Disgusting.

Great play by DeVito here, although I prefer my quarterback stay in the pocket where he belongs instead of running around and showboating. There’s a right way to play the game and there’s certainly a wrong way.

But what bothers me the most is the little gang signs he throws up after the score.

🤌How am I supposed to tell my kids about this? The quarterback of their favorite team is ‘repping his set’ or whatever and I’m supposed to just act like this is okay??

I mean, it’s spilled into the crowd too. You can’t even take your family to the game anymore without being surrounded by a bunch of gang-affiliated thugs. I’ve seen enough Martin Scorsese movies to understand how the mafia works. I won’t apologize for not wanting a bunch of thugs from the mob at the Giants game.

If Tyrod Taylor is healthy, they need to make him the QB1 asap. We need more class on the field. You score a touchdown, hand the ball to the ref and jog to the bench. Act like you’ve been there before. You’d be a proud father if your daughter came home with Tyrod Taylor. If your daughter came home with Tommy DeVito, you failed as a father. She’s probably already pregnant listening to Jack Harlow while DeVito shines up his gold chains and feeds her spaghetti and meatballs with Ma’s special sauce.

The New York Giants are becoming a clown show. I’m going back to watching college football where it’s about real competition instead of showing off for your hood or whatever.
