The Boston Celtics fans are being Boston Celtics fans again which means everyone has to log off for the next few days as they try to convince us that they’re not racist.
Over the weekend, the Brooklyn Nets beat the Boston Celtics 141-126 to go up 3-1 in their first-round series.
What will most likely be Brooklyn’s last day in Boston this year ended with Kyrie Irving stomping on the Celtics logo.
Kyrie appeared to step on the Boston logo as he greeted his teammates at half court postgame.

This meaningless gesture should’ve affected zero people but these aren’t regular people we’re talking about here. These are Celtics fans.
When Kyrie played for the Celtics from 2017 to 2019, he promised fans that he’d re-sign when his contract ran out but instead, he chose to move to Brooklyn with his acne-ridden friend, Kevin Durant.
Boston has been wildly disrespectful towards Kyrie as if he isn’t allowed to change his mind and play elsewhere.
But Kyrie is a moody weirdo whose word should have never been trusted to begin with.
Also important to point out that Kyrie stomping on the logo came after a fan was arrested for throwing a water bottle at him.
Boston fans are out here throwing objects at Kyrie yet somehow the national conversation is more focused on him stepping on a logo that he literally ran back and forth on top of for the entire game.
There’s no way to avoid the obvious racism—especially in Boston where Celtics fans once broke into Bill Russell’s home and shit in his bed.
Amazing to see modern-day racists now treat Bill Russell like an icon and don’t realize their treatment of Kyrie is equally as terrible. Well, there’s nothing worse than treating someone’s bed as a toilet but you know what I’m trying to say.
Quick shout out to Adam Sandler’s co-star and former Celtic, Kevin Garnett, jumping off the top rope to defend the logo on the court which is literally just a sticker on a piece of wood that doesn’t mean anything.

Kevin Garnett has a problem with Kyrie stomping on the fake leprechaun. Kevin Garnett, the man who once said ‘happy Mother’s Day’ to Tim Duncan after Duncan’s mother died, would like Kyrie to show a little more class.
Oh, and Garnett left Boston and went to Brooklyn like Kyrie did. I know it was the result of a trade and Garnett didn’t have a choice but these two men have more in common than KG would like to acknowledge.
I cannot stress how unimportant all of this is.
I’m writing about a leprechaun named ‘Lucky’ being stepped on.
Blame Danny Ainge, the Celtics GM, who hoarded draft picks as opposed to trading for stars and ended up with Jayson Tatum, the ghost of Kemba Walker and a bunch of teenagers who were drafted instead of being sent away for guys like Kawhi Leonard and Jimmy Butler.
2012: Danny Ainge endorsed Mitt Romney.
2019: Danny Ainge said NBA players taking on Trump are “just like Hollywood,” and “the last people on earth I would ask their opinions, their political views.”

Yes, this same Danny Ainge that laughed at the idea of the players having political opinions so you know his ineffective conservative ass will have a statue built in his honor for the one time they went to the 2018 Eastern Conference Finals with Isaiah Thomas as their starting point guard, who Ainge then sent away to Cleveland for Kyrie who they all now hate because he stepped on the thing on the floor.
I hate it here.
When the aliens come to eradicate humanity, please send them to this awful city first. I pray they step on the Boston Celtics logo first.
