BREAKING: Racist Sports League Turns Out To Be Racist

brian flores

Brian Flores was recently fired by the Miami Dolphins in his 3rd season with the club after back-to-back winning seasons. His name was then floated in a bunch of head coaching vacancies around the league. He has been hired by exactly zero (0) of those teams.

Well, Brian Flores thinks he knows what’s going on. Racism.

I know, very shocking to hear this but it turns out, the NFL miiiiiight be racist.

Flores filed a lawsuit against the NFL claiming there is discrimination against black coaches who are not given a fair shot at jobs regardless of their qualifications.

The final straw for Flores seems to have been this text exchange between himself and former boss in New England, Bill Belichick.

Last week, Brian Flores interviewed for the New York Giants head coach job. Bill Belichick texted congratulations to Flores. Belichick appears to have an inside source within the organization that told him Brian was getting the job.

Unfortunately, Belichick accidentally texted the wrong Brian and it was actually Brian Daboll from the Buffalo Bills who was getting the job and from Bill’s congratulations, it sounds like it was a done deal regardless of how well Flores’s interview with the team went.

The NFL’s ‘Rooney Rule’ requires teams to interview at least one black candidate. It was meant to ensure that black coaches at the very least, get their foot in the door.

But the rule has been abused and now every hiring cycle, there is one black coach that gets flown across the country to meet the necessary quota with no real shot at getting the job. Last season, it was Marvin Lewis who was rumored for every open spot and got none of them and this year it was Brian Flores.

We are constantly told this country is a meritocracy. The best and brightest and most qualified always get the position but that’s almost never the case.

We are currently having this same debate when it comes to the Supreme Court as Joe Biden announced he’s selecting a black woman and people are outraged.

“You should never hire someone based on their race and the job should go to the best candidate”. But that thought process never goes any further than that. Are we to believe no black woman in American history has EVER been qualified enough for the Supreme Court? There are no judges or any black woman succeeding in law? It’s only white people? OR, have black women always been overlooked and never given a chance so in order to change that you have to, ya know, finally select a black woman.

These same arguments happen in the NFL every year. We are supposed to believe no black guys are capable of being a head coach but Joe Judge—a 38-year old special teams coach with no head coaching experience—can get a head coaching job over far more successful black coaches and it’s because Judge is more deserving(??).

What if I told you—and this is going to sound nuts so bear with me—the 32 white owners exclusively hire people who look like them and never step outside of their own personal network regardless of whether or not a black candidate would be better at the job.

Do you understand how many white people truly believe that black people are dumber than them? The NFL themselves attempted to cheat their retired black players out of receiving money from a $1.1 billion concession settlement by giving black players a different mental test than the white players.

Lawyers for the Black players suspect that white men were qualifying for awards at two or three times the rate of Blacks since the payouts began in 2017. It’s unclear whether a racial breakdown of payouts will ever be done or made public.

The binary scoring system used in dementia testing — one for Black people, one for everyone else — was developed by neurologists in the 1990s as a crude way to factor in a patient’s socioeconomic background. Experts say it was never meant to be used to determine payouts in a court settlement.

Both the NFL and the team owners believe black people are less than. It’s that simple.

Shout out to Brian Flores for essentially sacrificing his coaching career at the age of 40. He could’ve been a coordinator or coached a college team for as long as he wanted and as long as he removed his ambitions of applying to a job he deserves but nope. My man is setting all that shit on fire right before the Super Bowl. A king.

And as far as the New York Giants go, let’s just say it’s not a coincidence they were the last team in the NFL to start a black quarterback. I always see people say ‘hey, John Mara doesn’t have a racist bone in his body’. We don’t know these motherfuckers. Old rich white guys don’t need you defending them, weirdo. And no one has racist bones in their body. That’s not how bones work.
