The Minnesota Timberwolves beat the Denver Nuggets 112-96 in Game 4 to go up 3-1 in their first-round series.
Minnesota Timberwolves up 2-1.
Jaden McDaniels said the Nuggets can’t play defense, then went out there and proved they don’t play defense.
Tipped his cap and strut away, cut away to the credits.
Game 4 began with pain.
Donte DiVicenzo pops his Achilles as soon as the game starts.
Aaron Rodgers type beat.

A year of basketball stolen away from Donte.
Sucks.
Later in the game, Anthony Edwards would exit early with a knee injury…

Denver never stood a chance.
Ayo Dosunmu blacks out
The backcourt offcourt, back of an ambulance,, Ayo Dosunmu in the zone, Neo in the Matrix, The One.
Here’s the damage Ayo did to Denver in Game 4:
- 42 minutes
- 43 points
- 13-for-17 from the field
- 5-for-5 from 3
- 12-for-12 from the line
- 2 offensive rebounds
- 1 steal
AYO DOSUNMU GIVES WOLVES 3-1 LEAD WITH NIGHT FOR THE AGES.
🔥 43 PTS, most he’s scored in NBA
🔥 13-17 FGM, 5-5 3PM, 12-12 FTM
🔥 68 PTS in Games 3+4Dosunmu is the first player since Steph Curry in 2016 to score 40+ off the bench in the NBA Playoffs presented by @Google! pic.twitter.com/myApdo2aRg

4 and a half years trapped in Chicago, Zach LaVine gives his coffee order to Ayo like he’s some intern, Billy Donovan on the phone with his wife, deciding which type of elevator they should install in their 4 story home—Ayo Dosunmu finally plays meaningful basketball with teammates who expect to win.
The Dosunmu flower thrives in a healthy garden—Nikola Vucevic’s cigarette buds expelled from his system.
The T-Wolves can and will win this series, with or without Anthony Edwards. Jaden McDaniels called their chump and the Nuggets proved chump.
The Denver Nuggets are losers
Jokic, upset Jaden McDaniels dare go for a layup in the final moments, rushed to call the bad sportsmanship police—a sore loser moralizing his embarrassing defeat to a team whose two best scorers blew ligaments soon after the opening tip.

Now, instead of celebrating Ayo Dosunmu’s 43-point career-high, we’re debating whether or not the Timberwolves “won the right way.”
All series long, the Nuggets look up at referees, lower lips quivering, “May I have a call, sir?”
The Nuggets defense sucks—Nikola Jokic specifically. If this is how he intends to protect the rim, then he’s Jaylen Brown’s son.
Players can’t be MVP candidates if opposing guards turn into Julius Erving, slow-motion finger roll over their heads all game.
In Jokic’s defense, his teammates are equally fradulant, two confident dribbles and the Wolves sneakers touch paint.
They surrounded Nikola Jokic with goofballs.
Of course Jaden McDaniels went up for a layup at the end of this game, it was the same level of defense Denver played all night, McDaniels couldn’t even recognize they quit.
Denver led most of the game but lost so badly, it was disrespectful for the Timberwolves to continue scoring.
The Nuggets, down 3-1, present evidence to the court, Minnesota in violation of Unwritten Rule 1:1.8: “Thou shalt not make a historic comeback in your home building without your two best scorers and dare show an enjoyment of the achievement”.
I’m ready for the Nuggets to start their vacation.
Everyone is under contract next season except Peyton Watson, Tim Hardaway Jr, Bruce Brown and Spencer Jones.
Their core is locked in for another year of this.
It’s really hard to find good role players who show up and do the same job every night. The consistent guys are too expensive for Denver.
We are witnessing end of empire.
The Nikola Jokic era is dead, killed by Ayo Dosunmu.
