After losing the first two games of the 4 games series with the Blue Jays, Baltimore needed to win the next two games to hold ground in an American League of losers racing to the bottom.
Baltimore won Sunday’s game against Toronto 9-5, thanks to outfielder Colton Cowser hitting a homer and driving in 4 runs.
Colton Cowser wakes it up
The 4th-year outfielder, Colton Cowser, currently on pace for the worst season of his career.
Almost everyone in Baltimore is.
The vibes are abominable.
In the bottom of the 3rd, Cowser took a ball to the parking lot, a 3-run blast, Orioles up 6-nil.

Colton finished this Orioles victory with 2 hits, 4 RBIs and a walk.
Cowser hit a double on Saturday and now a homer today.
He’s putting together a little kinetic energy heading into June, spine of the season, time for all that offseason work to show itself.
Kyle Bradish Revival
7 innings, 4 hits, 4 Ks, 3 walks, and an unearned run allowed, the righty improving to 3-6 on the season.
Despite his nasty win-loss record, Bradish has a 1.72 ERA over his last 5 starts, including a 6-inning 1-hitter with zero earned runs against the Yankees on May 13th.
The Orioles pitching staff ranks 26th in ERA and has allowed the second-most hits in baseball.
Congrats to Kyle for stringing together a month of quality starts but to be the no. 1 guy for a winning ball club, Bradish has to keep showing up to work like this for the rest of the summer.
Baltimore won’t make the playoffs if he can’t.
Jesus Sanchez gets attacked by a fan
In some strange misunderstanding, a language barrier, led to a fan rocketing a 2-seamer back onto the field at Blue Jays outfielder, Jesus Sanchez, removing Jesus in the 6th inning for X-rays.

You never want to pump fake a game of catch on a road trip. The away fans may have a sleeper agent in the bleachers, some former college Ace, ready to break thumbs and wrists if an opposing outfielder tries to connect with them emotionally.
The Toronto Blue Jays fall to 29-31 and the Baltimore Orioles now on their heels at 28-32.
Which team will be the first to .500?
