The NFL Hall of Fame voters weighed in on age gap relationships, declaring them disqualifying, as still-future Hall of Fame head coach, Bill Belichick, was not voted into the Hall this year…

Former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick, who won six Super Bowls as a head coach and two more as a defensive coordinator, was not voted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility, a league source confirmed to The Athletic.

Realistically, after winning 8 super bowls, nothing Bill Belichick does after he leaves the NFL should affect his Hall of Fame ballet. Excluding an OJ Simpson scenario, although it’d be hilarious if it happened today, Jordon Hudson and some waiter ragdolled by a geriatric on the spectrum, Bill Belichick should be a hall of famer.

But Bill must wait another year to claim his spot on Mount Olympus, NFL writers punishing him for the thing they warned they’d punish him for.

See, the NFL media will say something like “Bill Belichick losing at North Carolina will tarnish his legacy” and most of us regular folk hear that and say “No, it doesn’t. Who cares what he does in college? He’s won 8 Super Bowls.

Then those same NFL media members with Hall of Fame votes will keep Belichick out with the excuse, “Bill Belichick losing at North Carolina tarnished his legacy”.

Instead of the Hall of Fame selection conducted by his peers, those who’ve competed with and against him, those who understand the expertise and brain power and sacrifice necesary for someone like Belichick to have sustained success for over 2 decades in a sport where it’s never happened before or after, the Hall of Fame selection is done by people who want to be right.

Belichick sucked as a college coach. His personal life spilled onto the field, the 73-year old allowing his 24-year-old beauty pageant loser, adult cheerleading, PR nightmare to wear her little heels on the sideline, pretending to work for the first time in her life.

Bill Belichick spending his waning years getting his soggy, wimpy weenie washed by a wayward runaway is off-putting—he and his band of sycophants robbing North Carolina of millions of dollars—the current optics atrocious.

He also won 8 Super Bowls.

I used to have dreams of becoming one of those dorks with a press pass, calling myself a “sports reporter”, but I lacked the ego and main character syndrome necessary to believe I deserve the power to determine who wins end-of-season awards, who gets big contracts based on those awards, and who makes the Hall of Fame.

In an alternate universe, I’m spending weeks on Twitter yelling at a kind, old, black lady for daring to be nice to Liam Coen at a press conference or I’m fighting with Barstool Sports employees over the sanctity of the game being destroyed by deflating footballs, ya know, lame shit.

How will Jordon Hudson handle this?

Jordon Hudson is a woman begging for attention, competing in pageants and cheerleading and controlling Bill Belichick’s life to the point where she interrupts CBS interviews, live editing what can and cannot be asked of her boyfriend/financier.

Hudson spent her entire adult life,  and I’m being generous calling her an adult, using Belichick’s reputation to set up her own meaningless life without him.

But if Belichick doesn’t make the Hall of Fame, if his relationship with a woman he may have met while she was a teenager, lights that legendary reputation on fire, then what is Jordon Hudson around sticking around for?

Unless Bill Belichick is blowing Jordon’s long, bony back out, missing out on becoming a first ballot Hall of Famer might be the end of the weirdest relationship since Aaron Rodgers and Danica Patrick pretended to like each other.

We’re like, 3 months away from the Jordon Hudson Call Her Daddy podcast, previewing her new book “Gridiron Princess” (foreword written by the great Mike Lombardi).
