Washington Commanders Coach Jack Del Rio Has Some Really Shitty Tweets About the January 6th Insurrection

One of the dumbest things about America is this two-party political system in which we allow one side to blatantly and openly become Nazis and for some reason, we have to respect their bullshit ideas and debate them over their outward hate of the most vulnerable people in the country. We are no longer allowing Jack Del Rio to just be ‘conservative’ as if these people’s beliefs aren’t clearly harmful.

Here’s the stupid tweet:

Jack Del Rio saw a story about the committee set to investigate the January 6th insurrection and decided to add some terrible ‘what about the other side’ nonsense into the fray.

To Jack, it is far worse to rise up against systemic racial injustice via the only real power regular people have than it is to storm the nation’s capital and try to murder politicians because you disagree with the results of an election.

I don’t necessarily want to go into further discussion on how dumb it is to compare sporadic riots from upset people reacting to police violence and organized plots to kill politicians you hate because the host of a reality TV show told you to.

We have to stop attempting to ‘reach across the aisle’ or compromise with people who believe it is more important to protect property than it is to protect human life from gun violence or police brutality or a mob of sore losers who would have never had sex if it weren’t for Craigslist ads and gas station dick pills.

The real qualm here is that Del Rio holds a position of power over NFL players who are predominantly black and directly affected by police brutality. JDR has shown how he feels about black people. I do not trust his judgment and authority over a group of men he sees as less than.

It’s a lot like when the Jon Gruden emails came out where he came off as a sexist and a racist and then you look back and see his rosters consistently had the most white players and his ‘political beliefs’ had a direct impact on how he built teams.

If you see waves of black people taking to the streets and demanding to be recognized as humans who are worthy of life and you think it is equal or even worse than a bunch of babies wearing lame-ass costumes to go raid AOC’s office because they want Trump to kiss them on the mouth then perhaps you shouldn’t have a job in which you lead young black men.

And of course the Washington Commanders had no comment on Del Rio’s shitty tweets. Dan Snyder refused to change the super racist name of his team since he took over in 1999. He never had a good reason to stick with the slur name outside of not giving a shit about Indigenous people and being a toddler who grew up liking the team and wanted to preserve his own meaningless childhood memories.

Dan Snyder also attempted to pimp out his cheerleaders to potential advertisers and passed around nude photos of these girls that were taken and distributed without their knowledge. A couple of years ago, 25 women came together to finally speak out on the sexual harassment they faced working for the Commanders.

I imagine Snyder and Del Rio are on the same page about how they feel about January 6th, and black people, and women, and probably anyone who isn’t a straight white guy.

Shout out to the good ol boys club of the NFL keeping the same conservative old white dudes in power. Congrats to Washington for their inevitable 5-6 wins this season because they have the worst owner in professional sports who hires equally low-IQ defensive coordinators like Jack Del Rio.
