First round pick, Zach Wilson, is still nursing a sprained PCL. Backup, Mike White, has returned to Earth with a 4 interception stinker. But the 2-7 New York Jets are finally ready to break glass for emergency to unleash their secret weapon on their Week 11 opponents.

Who can forget his historic Super Bowl run from a decade ago that I accidentally found on Twitter when I was actually looking for a funny interception but uh, I’ll just pretend as if I wrote this article to praise Flacco and not mock him.
Last week against the Buffalo Bills, Flacco went 3-for-3 with 47 yards and a touchdown. He’s in postseason form. Personally, I would never give him more responsibility than 3 passes but let’s see what happens against the Miami Dolphins next Sunday.
The same Miami Dolphins that just sacked Lamar Jackson 4 times and grabbed an interception off him. Surely Joe Flacco can withstand that level of pressure even though he literally lost his job in Baltimore because he couldn’t withstand that level of pressure the way Lamar Jackson does.
Let’s look at what happened the last time Flacco was wearing a Jets jersey and played against the Dolphins:
Joe Flacco’s stats vs. Miami last year in week 6:
21/44, 186 yds, 1 INT. Led the Jets to 0 points.

This is going to be a very fun game.
Also, Jets head coach Robert Saleh just recently gave this quote regarding Mike White:
Saleh on Mike White: “This market fascinates me in the sense that he was anointed as the next coming after one game and now everyone wants to throw him away. He deserves better than that.” Adds that the Bills defense has made a lot of QBs look bad & he hasn’t lost faith in White.

Saleh has not lost faith in Mike White and the media needs to get off the kid’s back also hold Flacco’s Microsoft Surface/faux iPad next week because we have completely given up on you despite putting up 400 yards on the Bengals’s heads.
Barring a hilarious Flacco performance, this will probably be one of the final times I write about the Jets this season so I quickly want to point out that Robert Saleh is supposed to be a defensive-minded coach and although he drafted Zach Wilson with the no. 2 overall pick, we tend to ignore how atrocious this defense is.
The Jets rank dead last in yards allowed and points allowed. Straight up the worst defense in the NFL. If I were hired as an NFL head coach under the guise that I knew defense, I’d have a better defense.
But none of that matters anymore because Joe Flacco is coming to save their season. 10-7 season soon cometh.
