Julio Jones has been demanding a trade for what feels like years now but this week, he made it quite clear his time in Atlanta is done.
Julio Jones accepted a call from Fox Sports host, Shannon Sharpe, live on air in which he said he was ‘out of here’ in reference to Atlanta.

The Falcons are most likely moving on from the 32-year-old who missed 7 games last season with a hamstring injury.
Also worth pointing out that although the Falcons signed Jones to a big 3-year $66 million extension in 2019, if they trade him before June 1st then he’ll only be a $200,000 cap hit instead of a $23 million cap hit after that date.
So yea, here’s out of there.
Here are the 5 best landing spots for Julio Jones:
5. New York Giants
I can’t not talk about the Giants in every single article so yes, the Giants should obviously trade for Julio Jones. We’ll pretend as if Giants GM, Dave Gettleman, didn’t trade away Odell Beckham Jr two seasons ago and replace him with Golden fucking Tate.
Yes, the Giants signed Kenny Golladay and drafted wide receiver, Kadarius Toney, in the first round but the two talents combined will be nowhere near as impactful as Julio Jones lining up on 3rd and 5 knowing that whatever route he runs will result in an automatic first down.
Plus Julio and Saquon Barkley together?? NFC East is finished.
4. Baltimore Ravens
Last season, the Baltimore Ravens finished dead last in passing offense.
And although they finished first in rushing, I think we’ve seen their lack of offensive balance is costing them any real postseason success. You cannot just tell 24-year-old Lamar Jackson to go win a Super Bowl on his own.
And I promise you, signing Sammy Watkins is not the solution.
I’ve never seen a quarterback win an MVP award and still get treated as if he has no idea how to throw a football despite having better numbers than a guy like Josh Allen who is praised by everyone. The Bills gave Allen Stefon Diggs. Time for Baltimore to give Lamar a Julio.
3. Cleveland Browns
This is the least likely of all options on this list BUT they also technically have the best trade piece: Odell Beckham. All things lead back to Odell.
The Browns won’t have the cap space or the draft capital but if Atlanta wants to win right away then they can swap Julio with Odell and keep business as usual.
If the Browns acquire Jadeveon Clowney and Julio Jones then they 1000% won the offseason and would bounce the Ravens and Steelers out of the AFC North.
Oh, and it’d be hilarious to see Odell give Matt Ryan the Eli Manning treatment. ODB might show up on First Take with Stephen A. and Max Kellerman to tell the world how bad Matt Ryan is at throwing deep balls.
2. Arizona Cardinals
We need to turn Arizona into the home of all disgruntled superstars. Julio Jones would be joining DeAndre Hopkins and JJ Watt on this washed All-Star team of Hall-of-Famers led by your mom’s favorite football coach, Kliff Kingsbury.
1. Atlanta Falcons
There exists no funnier outcome than Julio Jones pretending to not know that he’s on live television to tell the world he’s ‘out of here’ only for Atlanta to turn their phones on do not disturb and ignore all 31 GMs’ texts and calls.
Quitting on live TV and then awkwardly driving back to work on Monday is the most hilarious outcome of these affairs. Fingers crossed Matt Ryan throws to new tight end, Kyle Pitts, more than Julio Jones and he starts tweeting sad Dido lyrics during the bye week.
