Big changes coming to the Golden State Warriors organization as the team is hiring Steve Kerr’s son to coach the G-League affiliate team, the Santa Cruz Warriors.

Congrats to my Nick Kerr.
Typically, I feel a way about people being handed opportunities based solely on their family relationships but I can’t help but celebrate nepotism finally working in favor of a Nick Kerr.
Clearly, the Warriors need to make changes to their developmental staff.
All of their recent draft picks have been unplayable. Jonathan Kuminga and Moses Moody can barely scratch the rotation. James Wiseman was the no. 2 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft. He plays for the Pistons now.
There is some sort of disconnect between the players and the coaches but this new hiring should solve a lot of problems. These players need a Nick Kerr. You know, someone who understands them on a personal level and can connect in ways only a Nick Kerr can.
Don’t be shocked when the Warriors are back in the NBA Finals again in the next half-decade.
Look at how the Miami Heat is able to consistently build NBA players out of mud, local cocaine and Jimmy Butler’s offseason dreads.
All you need is role players who understand what’s expected of them every night and who serve as pressure release valves for the more important stars who need a possession off to catch their breath.
But I know how the world works. No matter how well he coaches in the G-League, no one will ever give credit to a Nick Kerr.
