If you’ve watched any of the Minnesota Timberwolves home playoff games you’ve noticed a couple of trends: 1. Karl-Anthony Towns is a crybaby who commits the worst fouls in NBA history and then complains to the referees as if he is pleading to avoid an arrest and 2. protesters keep trying to glue themselves to the floor because they hate Glen Taylor.

For context, Glen Taylor owns Rembrandt Farms, a major factory farm that produces tens of millions of eggs across the country. This past March, there was a bird flu outbreak in the facility. In order to fight the bird flu outbreak, they killed FIVE MILLION BIRDS by literally cutting the airflow throughout the facility. Yea, we should be fucking protesting Glen Taylor.
Here’s what Direct Action Everywhere, the group responsible for these protests, had to say regarding Glen Taylor:
“To have Taylor and other extremely powerful factory farming businessmen getting these taxpayer bailouts flies in the face of the values of ordinary Americans. Taylor should set a powerful example by stepping away from NBA ownership and refusing to take any subsidies related to the HPAI outbreak, and donate funds previously received to help repair some of the harm of the most destructive industry on the planet.”
Rembrandt Farms received $11.5 million in federal funds and Direct Action Everywhere has planned to cause a scene until Taylor donates that money to animal rights organizations.
First, fuck Glen Taylor. These billionaires make massive business mistakes and run to the government for millions in bailouts. None of that money ever goes to the employees or to improve the working conditions and in this case, the animals living conditions.
Yes, it is hilarious to see security guards tackle weirdos that attempt to run onto the court but let’s all take a step back and actually look at what their fighting so hard for.
Never let these rich assholes have any moment of relief. They are actively ruining this planet and they should never feel peace. Glen Taylor should constantly be looking over his shoulders until the day he dies which is hopefully [redacted].
