The Kansas City Chiefs are 3-4 this season. They stink. They’re in 3rd place in the AFC West behind a team that has Derek Carr as their starting quarterback. You can point the finger at their atrocious defense but their defense has always been mid. The real problem is that Patrick Mahomes won’t stop throwing the ball to the other team.

Mahomes leads the league in interceptions so far this season. The player that NFL media personalities were already crowning as the GREATEST EVER despite only starting his career in 2018, is out here chucking the ball into double coverage for no reason.
Yes, the Chiefs have one of the worst defenses in the NFL. The Tennesee Titans went up 27-0 in the first half but previous versions of the Chiefs would match those 27 points. It would be a shoot out. This year’s team is just handing the ball to the other team.
How can you expect your defense to excel when they are constantly being asked to stop the opposing team in short yardage situations because Mahomes threw a football into a cornerback’s chest.
According to FiveThirtyEight, Kansas City has a less than 50% chance to make the playoffs this season. The Chiefs are averaging 6.2 yards per play and 26 points a game. You cannot have the supposed offensive genius of Andy Reid coaching a roster with Travis Kelce and Tyreek Hill and just be a mid-tier team.
So what’s wrong with Patrick Mahomes?

Perhaps he’s having trouble at home. His wife looks like she bites and his brother is always in the middle of some clumsy awkward tik tok dance. That weirdo will even do a dance in front of Sean Taylor’s memorial. Mahomes is surrounded by sociopaths.
How can this man focus on hitting open receivers when he’s worried his wife my bite someone in the press box or his brother might accidentally dance on someone’s grave.
All I know is that Patrick Mahomes is putting up Jameis Winston numbers and we keep talking about him as if he’s not actively trying to break Blake Bortles turnover stats.
