The Dallas Mavericks are sitting 4-2 this season despite having one of the worst head coaches in the NBA and a second “star” who spends most games on the sidelines with random injuries and black eyes. The saving grace is their secret weapon: Frank Ntilikina.
Et si Frank Ntilikina parvenait à petit à petit s’imposer dans cette équipe de Dallas ?

In Dallas’s 105-99 victory over the Kings on Sunday, Frank Ntilikina had a season-high 12 points, hitting both of his 2 three-point attempts with 3 rebounds and a steal.
After being consistently neglected by the Knicks in his 4 year tenure in New York—including a random Christmas Day DNP from Dave Fizdale after he invited his entire family in from France to see him play—Ntilikina is finally getting a fair opportunity in Dallas and dominating.
The Mavericks are plus-20 in Ntilikina’s 61 minutes played. His 14 minutes last week against the San Antonio Spurs seemed insignificant in the box score but truly changed the game for Dallas who looked flat and lifeless until Frankie came in with energy ended with a +24 plus/minus.
It appears as though he has finally found a team that values the defensive intensity he brings to the court and that confidence has given him the freedom to excel offensively as well.
All thanks to coach Jason Kidd who is somewhere driving to the Mavs facility with an open bottle of Svedka in his cup holder.
