Biggest storyline of the season:
Kawhi Leonard tore his ACL against the Utah Jazz in the playoffs and has no timetable for a return. This is a man who takes his sweet ass time recovering from injuries so there’s about a 98% chance Kawhi doesn’t even play this season and as you can imagine, losing the best postseason player in the NBA is bad.
Key Players
Kawhi Leonard: At some point, the Clippers are going to go on a losing streak and lazy sports take TV will blame Kawhi for rehabbing at home instead of sitting on the sidelines in a suit motivating his squad even though we all know that he would just be sitting there staring off into the distance for 3 hours.
Terrance Mann: He dropped 39 points in a Game 6 to knock the no. 1 seeded Utah Jazz the fuck out of the playoffs. Mann might be the next great scorer in this league. Or the Jazz melted and Mann got extremely lucky. Shrug.gif.
Nicolas Batum: Don’t have much to say about what Batum will contribute to this year’s Clippers but just want to take a moment to applaud him for stealing a 5-year $120 million contract from the Bobcats. Hustle hard.
Paul George: Playoff P finally earned the ridiculous nickname he gave himself out of the blue but that occurred while he still believed in the back of his mind that Kawhi might return to the playoffs to help him out. This season, he knows that won’t be occurring. Don’t worry everyone, we’re getting our Paul George jokes back.
