Colorado State Head Coach Jay Norvell Is Right About Deion Sanders

This weekend, we have an in-state battle between Colorado and Colorado State. Deion Sanders snapped his fingers and turned Colorado into one of the best teams in the country which has rubbed a lot of people the wrong way.

Colorado State head coach, Jay Norvell, specifically has a problem with Deion wearing hats and sunglasses in his post-game press conferences.

That sound of applause in the back was actually me standing from my chair.

Jay Norvell is absolutely right.

Sure, you can criticize Coach Prime for using a historically black college as a way to slingshot his way into becoming a Division One football coach without having to be an assistant first and waiting in line for his turn.

Sure, he lied and said god brought him to Jackson State and he lied about wanting to raise the status of historically black coaches before immediately jumping ship to coach for a Pac-12 school leaving behind many kids whose parents he straight up lied to.

The man was only at Jackson State for 3 years.

He didn’t even stay to see his original class of freshmen graduate from the school before he left and brought all of their talented players with him to Colorado thus leaving the program exactly how it was before he arrived.

And sure, he convinced us that he was different from all of the other white guys who use young black men for their own personal gain only to reveal he has the same exact goals as every other one of these narcissistic, power-hungry coaches.

But the REAL problem with Deion Sanders is sometimes he wears sunglasses and a hat in press conferences. Jay Norvell really hit the nail on the head here.

Please disregard Jay Norvell always wearing a hat in his press conferences just like literally every single coach does. We all know it’s not disrespectful when you wear a visor.

Just like all of our mothers taught us growing up.
