The New England Patriots have decided to not only start rookie, Mac Jones, over Cam Newton but they are cutting him from the roster entirely after giving him almost all of the first-team reps during training camp.
We can talk about his performance or how great Mac is or whatever but Cam getting cut is the result of his own personal refusal to get vaccinated. A decision that cost him a week of practice and could’ve tanked the entire season for the Patriots if he caught the virus and took the entire quarterback room with him.
But he can clearly still ball and deserves to be a roster.
Here are 5 teams that should sign Cam Newton:
1. Indianapolis Colts
There is a 0% chance that Carson Wentz will play 17 games this season. He already suffered a foot injury that required surgery a couple of weeks ago and when he finally returned to the field, he was instantly turned away due to Covid protocols after refusing to get vaccinated.
As I write this, there are NFL writers who convinced themselves that Wentz was going to be a perennial MVP candidate and they are now defending his injury-plagued career by saying he’s suffering from Havana Syndrome.
2. Denver Broncos
Now that Drew Lock is officially the backup QB and Denver is accepting that they completely blew that draft pick, it’s time to bring in a stronger stop gap quarterback than Teddy Bridgewater. Bridgewater is fine or whatever but Cam’s ability to run the ball would make Denver’s offense a real threat.
3 Minnesota Vikings
At this point, I’m convinced Kirk Cousins is intentionally licking train seats to prove that he can survive this pandemic without having to wear a mask or get a vaccine. Cam isn’t better than Kirk and neither of these two men or vaccinated so it’s not as if Cam would come in and play for Cousins if/when he inevitably gets sick.
No, the reason I’m saying the Vikings should sign Cam Newton because it would be hilarious when the entire 53 man roster has to quarantine because their ‘leaders’ are assholes
4. Washington Football Team
How nice would a Cam Newton Ron Rivera reunion be in Washington? A franchise that desperately needs positive press after the owner was caught forcing the team cheerleaders to become escorts in order to help acquire sponsors and shit.

Look at these two. Bring them back together.
5. New York Giants
Daniel Jones seems incapable of playing 17 games in a season especially with this organization refusing to address the terrible offensive line. Jones’s specialty is his running talent so you’d want your backup QB to be able to come in and execute the same playbook. Cam Newton can fill that role.
6. Detroit Lions
Jared Goff. That is all.
7. Houston Texans
This is probably the most obvious of choices on this list but the Texans currently don’t have a starting quarterback because the player they thought they had turned out to be a sexual deviant consumed with the creepy desire of forcing his dick on women who don’t expect it.
Anyway, yea Cam Newton is a former MVP. Sign him.
