NFL commissioner Roger Goodell is pointing a gun at fans, warning them their sport—like everything else in this country—is about to get worse, re-establishing his desire to add international expansion teams.
“At some point, there will be NFL teams outside the USA. I have no doubt that this will happen one day,”
A new record-setting 9 international games will be played this season. Australia, Brazil, France, Spain, Germany, Mexico and 3 in England.
As the American economy dries up, AI can’t typo like ya boy, the NFL wants to overcharge foreign nations with their own teams coached by Matt Nagy’s and Adam Gase’s, losers.
I haven’t watched an international game in like 3 games. They air on NFL Network—a channel I do not pay for. My wifi router’s still knocking the sleep out its eyes when they kickoff in London.
Why not expand to Nashville? White people keep telling me how great it is down there. Although, they always sound like they’re describing the town from Grease. It’s giving musical segregation.
This league lacks the depth to even field a 33rd team. By Week 14, it’s Josh Allen and 11 backups filling the Sunday 1pm timeslot. There aren’t even enough quarterbacks for the Cleveland Browns to compete Week 1. You can’t make me wake at 8am Sunday, hyped for Teddy Bridgewater ball—yup, out of retirement again—leading the London Fog to an early 0-17 season.
But fans are the lowest priority. Employee safety the least of their worries. Working with a bootlicking NFLPA led by career opportunists, yes men and not-yet-identified scapegoats—pushing an 18-game calendar on a league full of players so frequently under the knife, I’m beginning to suspect the BIg Surgery lobby is keeping this barbarian league in business. Surgeons hitting a lick, generational wealth acquired—yea, cram into more plans to Germany. Peter Schrager asking a panel of nervous hosts one email away from learning Pat McAfee just took their job, “Hey, is the AFC East the toughest division? I mean, it’s gonna be tough flying out to Paris twice this year”
I’ll still watch and complain. I’m weak.
