It’s been almost two weeks since the horrific accident after the Ohio State-Michigan game when Michigan players attempted to plant their school’s flag on the Ohio State midfield logo, creating a chaotic post-game scene that ruined the day and was a black eye on college football—a storm cloud we may never see subside.

Abhorrent behavior but we shouldn’t expect much else from a woke university like Michigan.
Did you know you can major in women and gender studies there?
They might as well offer degrees in “Antifa” or “Video game streamer”.
Parents should never send their children to this school.
I’m sending my children right to Trump University—I’ve already wired over my tuition a few years ago and I’ve been corresponding with their dean, Mailer Daemon, ever since.
Thankfully, Ohio lawmakers are looking to put an end to all plant flagging at Ohio State University.
Here’s a little piece of Republican Josh Williams’s proposed deal:
“No person shall plant a flagpole with a flag attached to it in the center of the football field at Ohio Stadium of the Ohio State University on the day of a college football competition, whether before, during or after the competition.”
“Whoever violates this section is guilty of a felony of the fifth degree.”
“A violation of this section is a strict liability offense and section 2901.20 of the Revised Code does not apply.”
This is exactly what college football needs. If you plant a flag on Ohio State’s field, you get a felony.
You want to disrespect the game in front of children who will grow up to emulate your disgusting behavior?
Fine.
Felony.
Enjoy prison.
It’s a little thing called sportsmanship—ever heard of it?
You should absolutely have your life completely ruined if you do anything other than shake your opponent’s hand at the end of the game.
Legal fees, jail time, a future where your job opportunities are cut in half now that you have a felony on your record.
These are the consequences of beating your rival and celebrating with your friends.
Don’t want to go to jail? Don’t beat Ohio State. Don’t plant your flag on another team’s field.
