Indianapolis Colts star running back, Jonathan Taylor and Colts owner, Jim Irsay are at WAR. Taylor is ready to get his payday while Irsay is freshly awake from a weekend-long bender and wants nothing to do with paying a running back.
NFL Running Back situation- We have negotiated a CBA,that took years of effort and hard work and compromise in good faith by both sides..to say now that a specific Player category wants another negotiation after the fact,is inappropriate. Some Agents are selling ‘bad faith’..

1. If you’re good enough, they’ll find you.
2. If you work hard enough, you’ll succeed.
…If you succeed…
3. You boost the Organization
…and then…
Doesn’t matter, you’re a RB https://t.co/mG6In1ATGg

These two men should probably handle this privately instead of on Elon’s app but whatever they think helps them win public support.
Safe to say, Taylor doesn’t have a future in Indiana, especially now that Irsay is spending JT’s salary on flying whales across the planet. So let’s find this man a new home.
Here are 5 teams that should trade for Jonathan Taylor:
1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Bucs finished dead last in rushing last season. Whether they start Baker Mayfield or they start Kyle Trask, Tampa is going to need a workhorse running back to carry this offense.
This could even be a long-term landing spot for Jonathan Taylor. Tampa isn’t spending a billion dollars on their quarterbacks so they have money to pay a star running back.
Plus, Mike Evans and Chris Godwin are still on this team. Tampa could lowkey put together a decent offense if they add Taylor and find literally any guy on the planet better than Baker Mayfield. I think Nathan Peterman is available.
2. Los Angeles Rams
Sean McVay is an offensive mastermind with a star running back. Sean McVay is a scamming grifter without one. Jared Goff was able to shrug his way to a Super Bowl by spamming play-action fakes with Todd Gurley. The Rams offense needs a running game to work.
Plus, Matty Stafford and Cooper Kupp are physically deteriorating before our eyes. Aaron Donald has flirted with retirement. This Rams team needs a superstar dropped in the middle of the locker room and that’s Jonathan Taylor.
3. Chicago Bears
I am off the belief that NFL teams should strengthen their strengths. So often teams find success one way and then try to expand and experiment new things instead of doubling down on what’s working.
The Bears led the NFL in rushing last season. Team up Justin Fields, JT and Khalil Herbert. Opposing linebackers are going to have a loooooong day when they walk onto Soldier Field.
Plus, Justin Fields is currently the most bet-on player to win the MVP. The world must know Jonathan Taylor is coming. Or a lot of people love lighting their money on fire.
4. Carolina Panthers
In 2021, Jonathan Taylor rushed for an NFL-leading 1,811 yards and 18 touchdowns. He was an All-Pro and finished 2nd in Offensive Player of the Year voting behind a historic Cooper Kupp season. Frank Reich was the Colts head coach at the time so if I’m JT, I’m demanding to be reunited with the coach who schemed the most productive season of my life.
5. New York Giants
Welcome to Deadseriousness, of course the Giants are on this list. Sure, they are coming off a public beef with Saquon Barkley before they were bullied into giving him a few extra hundred K more than the franchise tag but why not get another cheap young running back you could run into the ground for free?
Last season, the Giants realized pretty early on opposing teams were not even a little bit scared of New York’s receivers so they built the whole offense around rushing the ball. Add JT to the backfield and let Jones, Barkley and Taylor rush for a combined 500 yards a game. Darius Slayton can have 1 catch for 3 yards or whatever.
