Since taking over the Philadelphia Eagles in 2021, Nick Sirianni has a 43-19 win-loss record— including 3 straight seasons starting 9-2 (or better) for the first time in franchise history.
Sirianni also happens to be the first head coach in Eagles history to have a winning record in each of his first 4 seasons with the team.
Here he is after a big 37-20 victory on Sunday Night Football against the Los Angeles Rams, motivating the squad to keep going:
Eagles HC Nick Sirianni shouts out Saquon for his franchise record 255 rushing yards and then shifts to a serious message for his team:
“Everyone is calling you and telling you how f—ing good you are. We have not done s—t. Put your head down and work.” pic.twitter.com/jhmGafjf99

Philadelphia is currently riding a 7-game winning streak, the team’s second 7-game winning streak in 3 years.
Even the referees treat Sirianni with the reverence he deserves.
With 2:26 left in the 3rd quarter, the Rams faced a 3rd and 3 on the Eagles 14-yard line. Matty Stafford threw an incomplete pass to Puka Nukua. The Rams were called for the hold.
After initially declining the penalty and seeing the Rams set up for a 4th and 3 play, the lead official Land Clark—whose name is Meriwether Lewis’s sarcastic response to his travel partner asking “What’s even the point of all this?”— allowed Nick Sirianni to change his mind and actually accept the penalty for the 3rd and long attempt that ended with Stafford getting sacked and the Rams missing the kick.
Only the most respected coaches can get away with declining a penalty and then changing their minds with the play clock dwindling down.
I shouldn’t be surprised by the media’s hate of Sirianni though.
Look at how much love Baker Mayfield is getting after making fun of Tommy DeVito’s touchdown celebration. The NFL is anti-Italian. We know this already.
I honestly can’t remember why the Nick Sirianni slander ever started.
This team went to the Super Bowl two seasons ago and y’all wanted this man fired.
Who cares if they started last season 11-1, got their doors blown off by the San Francisco 49ers, then proceeded to lose 6 of their final 7 games—picking up their sole win against a Giants team with fewer talented players than a local New Jersey JV team.
And sure, they limped into the postseason before Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers jumped them, knocking them out of the first round.
But honestly, what did you expect from that team after the NFL ripped their heart and soul away from them?
You stripped the Eagles of Big Dom and expected them to flourish??
The Eagles look like they’re walking to the Super Bowl this year.
Nice try, NFL media, but you couldn’t rattle this team by pointing out that the offensive and defensive coordinators are in complete control of their sides of the ball, meaning Sirianni doesn’t really do much during the week. Well, it’s called DELEGATING and all great leaders do it.
I’ve read stories about a rift between Sirianni and Jalen Hurts but who cares? Tom Brady and Bill Belichick never got along and they won a big game or two.
The results are clear. Nick Sirianni is the best head coach in football and it’s time to line up the apologies.
