Kanye West is currently on a press tour sitting down with anyone who will listen to him about how terrible the Jews are and how much white lives matter. Some real nazi shit. Companies associated with him are rushing to end deals and contracts. Jaylen Brown of the Boston Celtics and Aaron Donald of the LA Rams have announced they will be parting ways with Donda Sports.

Nice words from the Donald family or whatever but all of this has made me wonder one thing…
What the fuck is Donda Sports?
There are only two types of articles I could find on the matter. Either a press release from Donda Sports announcing the signings of Jaylen Brown and Aaron Donald or the press releases from Jaylen Brown and Aaron Donald announcing they are leaving.
That should tell you a lot about this little scam Kanye was attempting.
Here’s a screenshot of the Donda-sports.com homepage.
The logo in the center spins in a circle. That’s about all this page has to offer. OH, and they have a shop consisting of only three items: a $200 Donda Sports hoodie, a $140 pair of athletic shorts and $60 socks.
Donda Sports’s twitter page has 23 tweets. Most of which are retweets of Jaylen Brown dunking. Sick. In-house marketing team deserves a raise. Alexa, play 9-to-5 by Dolly Parton.
But I’m still not entirely sure what Aaron Donald and Jaylen Brown were getting from this deal. Kanye wasn’t their agent or manager.
Apparently, it was a ‘marketing’ deal but why the fuck would you sign up for a marketing deal with the guy who markets his albums by going onto TMZ and saying that ‘slavery was a choice’?
Did Jaylen Brown just want Kanye to make some Jaylen merch that he could sell outside of his Celtics jersey? I promise you, you can just google ‘design my own t-shirts’, click the first result and make your own merch without sitting shotgun with a guy who is driving full speed into antisemitism.

ANTONIO BROWN IS THE PRESIDENT OF DONDA SPORTS?!
Antonio Brown is the same man who has been accused of several sexual assaults, has been recorded in videos terrorizing the mother of his children anddddd he was just seen jacking off in a public pool.
The president of Donda Sports.
Still not sure why these stars would volunteer to attach their brands to Kanye and Antonio fucking Brown but good for them for removing themselves from all this nonsense.
But since I have you here, I’d be remiss if I didn’t at least comment a little bit on the overall Kanye West fallout after his weeks of spreading alt-right talking points.
If you still believe Kanye West is some genius who is only saying this garbage because he knew it would free him from his Gap and Addidas deals then you don’t understand what a genius is.
Kanye makes good beats. That is it. He doesn’t know more about the inner workings of the world than anyone of us. He admits he never reads so he’s only learning information from just blindly believing what people around him tell him.
This wasn’t some masterful 3D chess. Kanye believes everything he’s saying and deserves every bad thing that is happening to him right now. This isn’t some elaborate prank.
And as far as this new discourse surrounding the fact that anti-Semitic comments made everyone cut ties with Kanye but his racist comments about black people didn’t have the same consequences—duh.
But that’s not necessarily the fault of black people. There is always this wave of people saying we aren’t as ‘organized’ as other cultures so we don’t come together and boycott and blah blah.
We simply do not have nearly enough black people in positions of power. We don’t have to become antisemitic ourselves attempting to wrap our minds around what is happening. Jewish people have been doing their thing for thousands of years and black people were allowed to vote for like, 25 seconds.
We know and understand why these people are in positions of power and we don’t have to go full conspiracy mode to comprehend this.
If we want real change then we have to make sure our star athletes who make millions upon millions of dollars are investing wisely and not getting scammed by Kanye West and ANTONIO FUCKING BROWN.
