Whenever people talk about this Golden State Warriors run, there is always a mention of how many Hall of Famers they have. When referring to Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green, people will say all 3 players belong in the HoF but we really need to stop all pretending as if Green is some special, transcendent superstar when in actuality, he’s an emotional weirdo who fouls so much that the refs have no choice but to let him do it.
During Monday night’s Game 2 between the Sacramento Kings and Golden State Warriors, Draymond did the thing he always does every year in the playoffs: some dirty shit.

With bodies falling all over the floor, Sabonis found himself on his back with a fastbreak heading in the other direction. It seems clear that he grabbed Green’s ankle to save his face from being stomped out but unfortunately, it ended with Draymond stomping his guts out.
And now we all have to deal with the week-long discourse where assholes pretend to defend Draymond so they can stand out and get Twitter notifications to help get them through their disappointing lives when we all know Draymond Green is an attention-seeking dweeb who commits ridiculous fouls when the game isn’t going his way and gets away with it because he spends all game barking at the refs and they are afraid of him.
Here he is getting into with allll of the Kings fans because again, he needs attention.

This guy scored 8 points with 5 turnovers and 5 fouls and he’s hyping up the crowd as if everyone came there to see him throwing opponents down on every free throw rebound attempt and breathing through his mouth because he has too many nose boogies.
Here’s what Draymond said after the game about the incident:
“My leg got grabbed, second time in two nights, refrees just watch it. I gotta land my foot somewhere, and I’m not the most flexible person so it’s not stretching that far. I can only step so far and pulling my leg away, so it is what it is. The explanation [from the officials for the ejection] was I stomped too hard.”
Draymond has become an influencer who also happens to play basketball at an extremely low level. He’s heralded for his basketball IQ when in actuality, he’s somehow gotten away with committing nonstop moving screens to get Steph and Klay open.
I reckon that’s where my frustration lies. Draymond Green is talked about like he’s some basketball savant but he’s just a dickhead who gets away with kicking players in the testicles and bodyslamming guys who are trying to box him out for a rebound.
But this article is not some desperate attempt to make the refs call more whistles. That’s another reason why this man has ruined basketball discourse for me. There’s either one side defending all of his bullshit or another side with Blue Lives Matters bumper stickers wanting stricter policing on the court.
You know what I want to finally happen? Someone punching Draymond’s teeth out of his gums. Earning technical fouls and being kicked out of basketball games will never change this sociopath’s behavior. But an opponent blowing up and chokeslamming him at center court might put an end to all this foolishness.
The man punched his teammate in the face at a random practice before the season started and got away with it without anyone punching him back. He can’t keep getting away with this. I want/need someone on the Kings to stand up to Draymond and send him through the hardwood so we can finally rid ourselves of this nightmare.
I just want to scroll through my timeline and see highlights and jokes. I’m done with the Draymond think pieces and biased defenses of his actions. He isn’t talented enough to play at this level so he makes up for it with goon shit.
Society has evolved past the need for Draymond Green.
