The Eagles Should Cut Diva Wide Receiver AJ Brown

The Eagles are on a 50,000 game winning streak and star wide receiver, AJ Brown, is complaining about not getting the ball enough. Disgusting.

The Philadelphia Eagles are on a 9-game winning streak, preparing to host the Pittsburgh Steelers in a game that’ll test whether or not the Eagles are real Super Bowl contenders and instead of the team solely focusing on TJ Watt coming to ruin their lives, they’re spending the week dealing with AJ Brown complaining about Jalen Hurts not throwing him the ball enough.

After their close battle with the Carolina Panthers last Sunday, AJ Brown was asked what the offense needs to improve on.

He said “passing”.

Jalen Hurts passed for just 108 yards against the Panthers—still finished with 2 passing touchdowns and a 110.8 passer rating but it wasn’t the most dynamic passing game in the NFL.

AJ Brown had 4 catches for 43 yards.

And was pissed about it.

Thankfully their injured pass rusher, Brandon Graham, has his own radio show because it’s always a good idea to have an active player with a weekly show, openly speaking about active problems in the locker rooms.

More teams need their leaders yapping on microphones about topics that will almost certainly become annoying narratives that follow their teams for the season.

Very good idea.

The Malik Nabers show would be electric.

He hates everything.

“They were friends but things have changed.” Thank you, Brandon.

But AJ Brown came back and cleared up his original comments.

“When he asked the question, what the offense can do better, obviously it’s not running the ball. [Barkley] is about to win MVP. Like, literally. So what other thing do we do on offense? We have to pass the ball. That can go into protection, that goes into picking up a block, that goes into us getting open quicker, being on the same page, Jalen’s reads, whatever the case may be. It’s a collect group of dudes. They kind of just spun it that way.”

Brown made sure to double down on his critique of Jalen Hurts and his inability to read a defense.

The Philadelphia Eagles should cut AJ Brown yesterday.

The team has won almost every game this year and Brown is crying about not getting enough touches.

Saquon Barkley is having one of the greatest running back seasons ever, sneaking his way into MVP discussions while AJ Brown curses under his breath every time Jalen Hurts calls a running play in the huddle.

I trust Nick Sirianni even though I’m still not entirely certain what exactly his job is and he looks like his life is a nonstop midlife crisis.

I trust Jalen Hurts even though he can’t throw in the middle of the field and if a receiver isn’t 10000% wide open standing completely alone, he probably won’t throw him the ball because his arm isn’t strong enough to get the ball through tight windows like the top tier quarterbacks the Eagles will need to beat to win a Super Bowl.

I trust the Eagles will be the first team to rely on their running game to win a Super Bowl in the modern era without any team cramming the box and forcing Jalen Hurts to beat them through the air—a task Hurts has historically proven he is incapable of.

Cut AJ Brown.
