Recently, the Houston Rockets have been in the middle of some turmoil as Kevin Porter Jr and Christian Wood were suspended one game for refusing to check into a game. They flipped out on their head coach and Kevin Porter went as far as leaving the arena at halftime.
Turns out, putting together a team of random teenagers to get their ass beat by grown men 4-to-5 times a week isn’t great for the overall locker room morale. When you gather 15 guys and treat them as ‘assets’ instead of humans with tendencies and behaviors, you are bound to have some meltdowns.
But let’s not get fooled by this misdirection. The Houston Rockets are endeavoring in far more sinister activities than ruining the careers of young men.

While you were busy conjuring up fake Christian Wood trade scenarios, the Houston Rockets have been playing god.
If you go to the Toyota Center to watch John Wall watch the Rockets, you can now purchase a mac n cheese bacon fruit loop hotdog. Now—like the ‘stars’ on the team—you can rush out of the arena at halftime but instead of being fed up with the losing, you’re rushing to the ER to have your stomach pumped like Lil Kim.
The Rockets are owned by Tilman Fertitta—a man who made his fortune with restaurants, casinos and hotels. And now basketball. Fertitta put all of his eggs into the food and entertainment business which is a problem if there were, say, a global pandemic that shut down literally all of your businesses.
The only thing preventing Fertitta from sleeping in the back seat of his car every night is begging people for one of the biggest loans in history to save his shitty restaurants. And what does this low IQ loser do with this free money? Mac n cheese bacon fruit loop hotdogs.
Not everyone deserves to own a restaurant. The NBA needs to step in and force him to sell the Rockets if this continues. Lord knows he could use the money.
