Josh Sills is a rookie backup offensive guard for the Philadelphia Eagles. A man no one should really know or be thinking about. A person who should be quietly shutting up and flying under the radar while his team is about to win a Super Bowl.
And apparently on December 5th, 2019, he forced a girl to go down on him in his car and is only now facing the consequences of his actions.
Here’s what this asshole did to the victim:
In the report, the woman said Sills had given her and her cousin a ride back to her cousin’s home from a local cafe. The woman and Sills, who were both 21 years old at the time, knew each other for approximately seven or eight years and attended high school together.
Police said the victim told them that Sills grabbed her by the arm and pulled her back in as her cousin exited the vehicle. According to the report, the woman said her cousin “did not think anything of it and shut the door and walked into the house.”
That’s when Sills allegedly attempted to kiss her before grabbing her by the neck and throwing her down on the seat. The woman said Sills allegedly unbuttoned her pants and began groping her while she told him to stop repeatedly.
According to the report, the woman said Sills allegedly sat up, grabbed her by the back of her neck and pulled her on top of him, and said “she was doing this and was not leaving until she did this.”
That’s when Sills allegedly forced her to perform oral sex on him.
Afterward, the woman asked Sills if she could leave and he allegedly said “you will talk to me again,” before she exited his truck and ran inside the home.
Fucking insane that Josh Sills was able to force a girl to blow him and then like, go to football practice the next morning as if he didn’t completely alter the life of another human by robbing her of her body.
And now he gets to potentially show up to his first court date with a Super Bowl ring on his finger while this girl has to sit across from the man she thought she knew from high school but turned out to be a sociopath.
What should the Eagles do with Josh Sills?
I don’t have much more to add to this. I’m just hoping the Eagles cut him from the team before you even get a chance to read any of this.
Remember in 2012 when Bill Belichick cut Tiquan Underwood the night before the Super Bowl? He did it the night before solely to prevent the Giants from claiming him off waivers before the two teams met in the big game. Ruthless and kind of dumb but that’s the point. Players have been cut for wayyyy less important reasons.
The Patriots lost that game anyway. Laugh out loud. Sorry, this is a serious article about sexual assault and now all I can think about is Eli Manning’s pass to Mario Manningham. Best night of my life. And this team will never be close again because Dave Gettleman used the no. 2 pick on a running back. My stummy hurts whenever I remember all of the damage Gettleman did to this organization.
Anyway, cut Josh Sills yesterday. Duh.
You can’t lock girls in your car and make them do sex to you. Let’s all just keep that in mind going forward.
