Chiefs vs Chargers – Week 1
The early part of the new NFL season is the gift which keeps giving. After the drama of the opening game, I think this matchup is another to keep track of. After the drama and glamorous locations of Week 1, big games in the new NFL season keep coming. The pick of the bunch for me in Week 2 is a rematch of the Super Bowl 2024 between the Chiefs and the Eagles.
Key to this could be the home advantage Kansas has as we all know how vocal supporters at the Arrowhead Stadium can be. Let’s see if Eagles coach Nick Sirianni can keep his cool with them this time around.
After a dominant Super Bowl display, the Eagles will come into this contest full of confidence. I know they’ve lost key defensive players such as Josh Sweat recently, but they’re still a real force.
Ravens vs Rams – Week 6
Ok, I know this might not be a game many NFL fans will go crazy for but I think it has all the makings of a classic to light up the latest NFL news and headlines. It’s one that’s creating a buzz with bettors already too, who remember just what happened when these two clubs met in 2023.
This produced more fireworks than the Fourth of July celebrations and went into overtime. I really think this 2025 encounter between the two will be a huge game to catch.

Bears vs Giants – Week 10
There’s one reason and one reason only that this is a big game in the new NFL season and that is the fact that both sides hate each other so much!
This kind of die-hard rivalry always makes for a bruising encounter and means this is a game you can’t duck. Both sides were trash in 2024, so it could be anyone’s game. Just who wins out will depend on how well they’ve changed up their rosters and how much each’s performance can improve.
Caleb Williams had a decent showing last year personally and has the talent to really hurt the Giants defense. If new additions like Chauncey Golston slot in well for New York though, they might prove a stiff test for Chicago.
Xmas 2025 tripleheader
What would Christmas be without some great football games to watch?!
Not one but three top matches are available to enjoy over Xmas 2025, including the Cowboys at the Commanders, the Lions in Minnesota and the Broncos at the Chiefs. I’ll be glued to all three, but I think the evening game involving the Chiefs is the standout. We know just how amazing they are in Kansas and how eager they’ll be to make another Super Bowl this season.
However, the Broncos look set to really turn heads in 2025. With a top-rated defense and a QB in Bo Nix who looks to be the real deal, they’ll prove a tough test.
