A New Leak Reveals Why The New York Giants Didn’t Draft Shedeur Sanders

Todd McShay may have revealed the real reason why the New York Giants passed on Shedeur Sanders and the answer explains everything…

Following the end of the College Football season, Colorado star QB, Shedeur Sanders, was a lock to be selected in the Top 5 of this weekend’s draft—but somehow, someway, Deion Sanders’s son fell to the 5th round and we’re all still wondering why.

How?

The New York Giants were one of the teams connected to Shedeur prior to the draft. But with the no. 3 pick, New York selected pass rusher, Abdul Carter, out of Penn State.

Todd McShay over at The Ringer may have heard the real reason why no team wanted Shedeur Sanders and it all had to do with his meeting with the New York Football Giants.

“Shedeur didn’t have a great interview with Brian Daboll in a private visit,” McShay said on Thursday night. “An install package came in. Preparation wasn’t there for it. [He] got called out on it. Didn’t like that. Brian didn’t appreciate him not liking it.” (Source)

There you have it.

The New York Giants gave Shedeur Sanders some homework. Shedeur did not do that homework and then got upset when Brian Daboll called him out on it.

Too many GMs and coaches are desperately clinging to their current employment. You have a better chance of bumping into O.J. Simpson in heaven than you do working in the NFL with real job security.

Giants GM Joe Schoen and head coach Brian Daboll have one last opportunity to keep their New Jersey homes. To avoid moving their children to another school—again.

They cannot risk their livelihoods on a player whose entire football career has been groomed by his father—convincing him he’s god’s gift to the gridiron—turning him into a kid who is so arrogant he won’t even bother combing through the pre-meeting film his potential future employer sent him.

Now Shedeur sits at the bottom of the Cleveland Browns depth chart, next to a guy with no achilles and an incredible amount of tension in his shoulders that he legally cannot hire anyone to fix, and behind Dillon Gabriel, the 5-foot-9 QB Cleveland drafted the day before they picked Shedeur.
