This week, the Chargers beat down the Raiders 28-14 on the strength of their dominant defense bullying the Las Vegas offense line and most importantly, punishing Raiders QB, Derek Carr, who had been having a pretty impressive season thus far.
Star pass rusher, Joey Bosa, explained the game plan against Carr and it was everything we all know about Carr but feel bad saying about him. Bosa did not feel bad saying it.
Joey Bosa on Carr: “We knew once we hit him a few times, he really gets shook. And you saw on (Covington’s) sack, he was pretty much curling into a ball before we even got back there. Great dude, great player…but we know once you get pressure on him, he kind of shuts down.”

He was ‘shook’ and ‘curling into a ball before we even got to him’. Lololololol. Roasted.
The Chargers sacked Carr 4 times with a forced fumble and an interception. They made him look terrified of playing football and I will always take any opportunity to remind everyone that he once cried because he was sacked too hard.
Shout out to Joey Bosa for immediately changing the Derek Carr narrative. Carr is leading the NFL with 1,399 passing yards. He’s completing 64.3% of his passes and has thrown 8 TDs. He was getting some real recognition from NFL media members.
And then a game like this happens and we’re all like ‘lmao oh yea, Carr is afraid of playing football nevermind’.
Carr hasn’t made a Prop Bowl since 2017 in a league where everyone makes the Pro Bowl because so many players drop out of the meaningless game. So good for him for probably making another one this season. He is going to be the first Pro Bowl quarterback to cry during a borderline non-contact exhibition game.
Also, please let me know if Joey Bosa is alllll the way over there like his brother Nick. And you know exactly what I’m saying.
