Jalen Hurts Skipping The White House Visit Should Be Considered Treason

Success in football is all about sacrificing and laying your body on the line to help your teammates get to the Promised Land but Jalen Hurts skipping the White House visit is the antithesis of what a great leader and quarterback should behave.

Apparently, Super Bowl-winning QB, Jalen Hurts has a “scheduling conflict” that will keep him from visiting the White House with the rest of his Eagles teammates. Disgusting display of selfishness, especially coming off his All-Pro teammate, Saquon Barkley—who spent the weekend golfing with Donald Trump.

Barkley took the criticism and told everyone that he “respects the office” of president and it’s a shame Jalen Hurts doesn’t have the same attitude. Why wouldn’t Jalen Hurts want to spend his day off being photographed with Donald Trump, a man whose policies have directly affected the state of Pennsylvania, like the Trump administration cutting the funds to food banks that were stocked with local Pennsylvania farm produce? Hurts should gladly want to shake hands with the man who is taking food out of the mouths of the poorest people in his state.

As the Trump administration turns illegal immigrants into the equalivant of Jews in Nazi Germany—blaming them for all of America’s problems and going as far as creating laws that allow ICE to randomly kick in your door to search for immigrants—the world needs Jalen Hurts to stand up and show his support to this regime.

Honestly, it should be treason for Hurts not to be at the White House. If you don’t support the president sending his detractors to gulags in El Salvador, then you should be next in line to go there.

You either blindly join Trump or spend your final days in prison, wishing you just took the photo at the White House next to Saquon Barkley grinning ear-to-ear.
