The biggest question following this weekend’s NFL Draft is whether President Donald Trump is directly responsible for Shedeur Sanders getting drafted.
After not being selected on the first two nights of the Draft, Donald Trump went on Truth Social—the only social media site where the truth lives—to call the NFL owners “stupid” for not taking Deion Sanders’s son.

I’m sure Donald Trump was locked into Colorado’s football season as he was actively running a presidential campaign while simultaneously in constant talks with lawyers regarding his impending imprisonment had he not won the election.
Trump—a man who spends every Saturday on the golf course—was definitely checking his phone for Colorado Football updates.
No one knows more about this current recruiting class than the man who accidentally cratered the global economy within his first 100 days in office.
White House press secretary, Karoline Leavitt, was asked about Trump’s influence over the Browns decision to pick Shedeur.
Karoline Leavitt suggests Trump deserves credit for Shedeur Sanders getting drafted — implying Trump’s “statement” somehow influenced NFL draft picks.

“After the president’s Truth Social post, the Browns finally took Shedeur Sanders, does the president think he deserves credit for Sanders getting picked, and does he think going to the Browns is better than being undrafted?” asked Fox News’ Peter Doocy.
It’s time that the President finally gets credit where it’s deserved.
For so long, this humble, modest man has gone without receiving praise. You never hear anyone say they support him. You never see anyone wearing his red hats. You never see any of his followers commenting under social media posts using slurs and regurgitating nonsensical talking points Fox News spoonfed them.
Nope.
Let’s give Trump a round of applause for pressuring the Browns into taking a player that isn’t that good because we all like his father. This is exactly what I want the executive office of the most powerful nation to be focused on.
The draft dodger got someone drafted. Life has come full circle.
