Biggest storyline of the season
Jason. Fucking. Kidd. This bum ass hoe has been granted a THIRD CHANCE to coach an NBA team after his heist in Brooklyn and his awkward tyrannical rule in Milwaukee where he bullied Giannis just to prove that he was the most powerful man in the room only for Giannis to transform into the best player in the NBA the second Jason Kidd was no longer standing on his back.
And for some reason, the Mavericks think it behooves the development of their generational talent Luka Doncic, to have Jason Kidd stop by and bully him next. Mark Cuban is such an underrated terrible owner who gets away with daily sexual harassment in his offices and wearing Michael Jordan jeans.
Key Players
Luka Doncic: The darling of the NBA media. A preseason MVP favorite. A baby who whines after every single possession that doesn’t end with Dallas scoring points. Man, I cannot wait until he and Kidd fist fight before the All-Star break.
Kristaps Porzingis: It’s impossible to say anything positive about the player that is so clearly the anchor dragging the Mavs down. He is a mediocre perimeter shooter but he’s convinced himself that he’s Ray Allen out there. Although to be fair to KP, he’s not entirely wrong. He also defends the rim like Ray Allen.
Tim Hardaway Jr: Apparently, THJ’s 207 3-pointers last year were the 2nd most single-season 3’s in Mavs history. Ok.
Maxi Kleber: I clearly didn’t watch a lot of Dallas Mavs ball last season and I was surprised as hell to see Maxi Kleber shot 41% from 3 last year? Ok.
Frank Ntilikina: KNICKS TAPE BAYBEEEEEEEEE.

All hail the French Prince.
How the Mavericks can win the title
If Dallas can somehow trick a team into taking Kristaps Porzingis and his $158 million contract off their hands and sending back some actual NBA talent then Luka Doncic is great enough to lead them to a chip.
Oh, they also have to pray that Kawhi Leonard doesn’t return and they see the Clippers in the playoffs because something happens when Kawhi steps onto a court and sees a Mavericks jersey. It’s like a bull seeing red but the bull is the best defensive player on the earth and the bull has an unstoppable midrange game.
