In the 5th round, with the no. 144 pick, the Cleveland Browns finally picked Shedeur Sanders.
Then the broadcast cut to the Browns War Room, where everyone looked like they were forced to make a decision they were not on board with

Those are the faces of men relieved to have the sniper’s red dot on their foreheads.
Here’s what Andrew Berry and Kevin Stefanski said about the faces they made:
“Those clips, it’s not timed up to exactly the right time so I wouldn’t — don’t read too much into that,” Stefanski said.
“Yeah, I think we’re probably just tired from the weekend,” Berry told reporters. (Source)
See, it’s all a misunderstanding.
The broadcast is delayed, uh, apparently just in the Browns War Room because every other post-pick reaction seemed to be in real time.
But I get it. The wifi in Ohio isn’t great.
Andrew Berry loves Shedeur Sanders, he’s just sooo tired from drafting other quarterbacks first.
I’m sure Shedeur Sanders will have a fantastic career beginning in an organization that wants nothing to do with him. Shedeur will for sure get a fair shot at becoming the QB1 as the GM and head coach look like their children were kidnapped, only to be released if they drafted Deion Sanders’s lame son.
Cleveland now has 5 quarterbacks on the roster: Deshaun Watson, Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett, Dillon Gabriel and now Shedeur Sanders. While other teams are building offensive and defensive line depth, Cleveland is zagging, adding as many mediocre quarterbacks as they can find.
