Alec Baldwin Imitating Robert Kennedy Jr’s Voice on SNL is Shameful and Totally Unacceptable

This Alec Baldwin RFK Jr impression from the last episode of SNL took things too far and I’m ready to cancel this man. #CancelAlecBaldwin

Saturday Night Live is my refuge after a long week of canvassing, fundraising and self-actualizing. It’s my haven, where my best buddies Colin Jost and Michael Che, and the other ones, make me forget about all the injustices in this world.

With Donald Trump back in the White House, we need Saturday Night Live now more than ever. The healing needs to begin.

I was excited to watch Charli XCX host the latest episode as Brat Summer was formative for me. Doing ketamine in a Chelsea bar stall quiet enough that the bathroom attendant doesn’t ask any questions, really helped shape me into the man I am today.

But I was immediately blindsided by the cold open where Alec Baldwin impersonated Robert Kennedy Jr and took things too far.

Are you kidding me?

This is repugnant.

He may be mocking someone that perhaps we politically disagree with but that doesn’t mean you should make fun of his voice.

You’re not just making fun of RFK Jr—you’re also making fun of everyone at home who suffers from the same condition.

Even Alec Baldwin himself, in a recent Variety interview, knew he shouldn’t have crossed that line

Here’s what he told Variety:

“You know, in the cancel culture you get worried about doing something wrong. So where Bobby has the voice, which is obviously very raspy, I was afraid of doing too much of that because I would get condemned by people who have that condition. You are always mindful whatever you do in the United States these days, because you are going to get into trouble.”

It’s such a shame that we have to cancel Alec Baldwin over this considering he’s had a pristine career up to this point.

From leaving a voicemail on his 11-year-old daughter’s phone, calling her a “rude, thoughtless little pig” to shooting a cinematographer directly in her face from point-blank range—Alec Baldwin has never done anything to deserve being canceled.

But Alec finally stepped in it and I have to agree with him on this.

That RFK Jr impression takes things too far.

Do you understand how many people are just out here trying their best while living with a dead worm in their brains?

How many hard-working men and women just wanted to see Charli XCX be goofy when they were suddenly blindsided by the man who plans to gut the FDA, turning all of our grocery stores into our final stops before the morgues—getting his voice mocked by Alec Baldwin? I weep for these victims.

It’s not funny that the guy who ended a journalist’s career by pretending to like her so he could use her platform to spread his agenda—is suddenly the focus of Alec Baldwin’s hatred and cruelty.

I will not be supporting anything Alec Baldwin-related ever again. We don’t support hate here at Deadseriousness.
