If you can’t watch these clips, it’s just Tim Tebow getting ragdolled by defensive ends on the line of scrimmage even though he’s 6-foot-3 and 255 pounds. For some reason, a failed quarterback who was so terrible at his job that he was essentially kicked out of the league 9 years ago, thought he could return to football at age 34 and play the one offensive position in which you need to have the most diverse skill set to succeed.
After a weekend of being the laughing stock of the internet, the Jags finally decided to cut the worst player in the NFL.

And suddenly the narrative changed from universal—and deserving—mockery to respect for his attempts. So many comments about giving him credit for trying to play a new position and how noble his efforts were even though we just witnessed his efforts and they were abysmal.
Tim Tebow has spent his adult life tricking people into believing he’s such a kind selfless Christian by telling us that he’s saving his virginity for marriage or always tweeting positive corny bullshit but he’s truly an attention-starved maniac with severe main character syndrome.
When Tebow signed with Jacksonville this offseason, no one in the NFL media brought up the fact that teams asked Tebow to switch to tight end in 2013 back when he clearly couldn’t play quarterback but he was still in his physical prime and he refused because of his massive ego and his need to be quarterback and star of the team.
I am not giving ‘props’ to a (terrible) minor league baseball player who was only given this opportunity from a prior relationship he established with the current head coach when there are undrafted rookies who have actually spent years working on the craft of playing tight end while Tebow was on TV passionately declaring that they should not be allowed to make money playing college football.
Fuck Tim Tebow.
The Jaguars are consistently, year-after-year, one of the worst teams in the NFL and instead of focusing on building an actual competitive program, they signed Tim Tebow and wasted time, effort and resources to placate the head coach’s faux son.
What a very unserious organization.
I should be celebrating this delicious L that Tim Tebow took to the dome but I know how this sociopath operates. This was all a springboard into something far bigger and far more annoying. He’s going to host some Pros vs. Joes remake or something far more devious.
Tim Tebow is the sole human debunking the idea that America is a meritocracy. He peaked in college and has failed upwards because he’s white and rich and has important people in his phone contacts.
