ESPN sources: the Raiders agreed to trade five-time Pro-Bowl DE Maxx Crosby to the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for 2026 and 2027 first-round picks.
The trade cannot be processed until next week, but it is in place. And Crosby is expected to be a Raven with two 1s back to Vegas. pic.twitter.com/rfExCLpXfF

Ravens receive:
- DE Max Crosby
Raiders receive:
- 2026 First Round Pick (no. 14)
- 2027 First Round Pick
Baltimore Ravens grade: A+
For the first time in franchise history, the Baltimore Ravens are trading a first-round pick.
Two first round picks, grand theft auto with their inability to draft difference-makers.
Here’s the early draft currency Baltimore spent on pass rushers.
- 2021: Odafe Oweh: 1st round (31st overall)
- 2022: David Ojabo: 2nd round (45th overall)
- 2023: Tavius Robinson: 4th round (124th overall)
- 2024: Adisa Isaac: 3rd round (93rd overall)
- 2025: Mike Green: 2nd round (59th overall)
Rookie Mike Green recorded 3.5 sacks. Microscope required to discern his fingerprint.
Oweh, traded after five games and zero sacks this season. Ojabo barely touched the turf.
Isaac didn’t even fucking play.
Baltimore was 28th in pressure rate and 31st in sack rate.
The 4.6% sack rate was second-worst in franchise history.
DT Travis Jones led the unkindness with 5 sacks. Tavius Robinson, the only other player with 4+ sacks.
Jones, the spine of the defense. PFF ranks him the 3rd best interior run defender in the NFL.
Nnamdi Madubuike’s was the star of this defense.
13.5 sacks in 2023, 2nd-team All-Pro, but after appearing in only two games before a season-ending neck injury, the Ravens aren’t sure if Mdaubuike will even play again.
Perhaps John Harbaugh aged, took his foot off the gas, allowing the Ravens defense to atrophy.
Jesse Minter just coached a Top 10 defense in Los Angeles, turning 23-year-old, 3rd year EDGE, Tuli Tuipulotu, into an All-Star, 13 sacks, the first double-digit sack total of his career—leading the team and 4th in the league.
If Minter can unlock the young talent already on the squad, get Madubuike back on the field to pair with Travis Jones, then Maxx Crosby becomes a luxury piece.
Every team is bringing shovels to dig a hole and Jesse Minter asks, “Where can I plug in my jackhammer?”
Enter Maxx Crosby.
This is a hell of a sack from Maxx Crosby.
I think he briefly flew? Is that allowed, @NFL? Guys shouldn’t be allowed to levitate. That’s not fair. pic.twitter.com/UwySlSi8eY

Crosby’s had double-digit sacks three of the past four years, including a 12.5-sack 2022 and a 14.5-sack 2023.
He also led the NFL in tackles for loss both seasons.
Since 2022, Crosby has had 90 tackles for loss, tied with Myles Garrett for most in the NFL.
No one else has more than 72.
Crosby’s 186 solo tackles over that span, the most of any defensive lineman. Danielle Hunter is a distant second with 159.
Crosby led all edge defenders in ESPN’s run stop win rate in 2025.
Recently, the 28-year old, attacked by his own body—seven games missed over the past two year—but the motivation to play through pain for a 3-win team is different than the motivation playing for a Super Bowl contender. Maxx Crosby will be in uniform most often than not.
You can’t win in this league without explosive, game-wrecking players like Aaron Donald or Chris Jones or Jalen Carter.
Plus, Lamar finally has a star he can chat Trump with.
Las Vegas Raiders grade: A
This is how you build a dynasty. The Raiders now have seven picks in the first four rounds of the upcoming draft, including the 1st and 14th.
Fernando Mendoza will need all the help he can get. He’s being thrown to sharks with a first-time head coach in his ear.
Maxx Crosby didn’t wan’t to be there. An expensive painting gathering mold in the basement because they filled their cats with disgusting stray cats who love pissing on expensive art.
The Raiders need receivers and offensive line help. asagdfp. They can rebuild a cheaper, less American History X looking pass rusher in time.
