Shout out to the NFL for finally giving Amazon good games on Thursday night.

I will never forget the Browns and Titans and Jaguars having mid-offs while wearing Madden “Create-a-Team” ass uniforms.

This week, Washington flew into Wisconsin to get ragdolled by this Packers defense that received a massive upgrade a week before the season thanks to Dallas Cowboys owner, Jerry Jones—openly mocking the most talented player on the team—and being shocked when he didn’t want to play for him anymore.

Last week, Washington’s defense held the New York Giants to only 6 points and zero touchdowns.

Turns out—that defense ain’t so great when they’re playing against an actual professional football club—and not Brian Daboll’s little pop warner team.

Jordan Love keeps the ball moving

Last week, Jordan Love threw 2 touchdowns and completed 72.7% of his passes in Green Bay’s 27-13 victory against the Lions.

This week—he kept the vibes going as Green Bay won their second game in a row with a 27-18 win over the Commanders.

Here’s what Love’s night looked like:

  • 19-for-31 passing (61%)
  • 292 yards
  • 2 touchdowns
  • 113.9 passer rating

Jordan Love isn’t putting up All-Pro numbers so far this season—but he doesn’t need to.

The biggest maturity in Love’s game is his willingness to get first downs and keep drives going—instead of closing his eyes and chucking it as far as he can downfield in hopes someone wearing the same jersey as him comes down with the ball.

Love hasn’t developed a consistent deep ball and as long as he can get quick leads—he doesn’t have to even test that part of his game.

The Packers offensive line has kept Jordan Love on his feet and healthy.

And that offensive line is anchored by maybe the best tight end duo in the NFL

Packers tight ends are unstoppable

Tucker Kraft finished with 6 catches for 124 yards and a touchdown.

Luke Musgrave had 2 catches for 32 yards—but both tight ends were omnipresent throughout the game.

The Packers have two gigantic white dudes willing to smash helmets until their noses bleed.

Packers head coach Matt LeFleur—realized Washington couldn’t match up with their two future Barstool Sports podcasters—and took advantage of the mismatches.

But it was the Packers defense that truly won this game for them.

Jayden Daniels locked in a torture chamber

Last season, Jayden Daniels led the NFL in scrambles for a first down.

Tonight, Daniels had 7 carries for only 17 yards

. Washington was held to only 51 rushing yards all night. (And it might get even worse as Austin Ekeler went down with a possible Achilles injury that would end his 2025 season early).

The Packers defense recorded 4 sacks and 12 QB hits.

Jayden Daniels was in hell all night long.

I have no idea if Jayden is suffering from the spooky, mystical “sophomore” slump.

We’re only 2 weeks into the season.

Super small sample size.

But I do know—my guy had no idea what to do against a Packers defense that didn’t allow him to break out of the pocket and make any plays with his legs. W

hen trapped in the pocket—Jayden’s superpowers were turned off—and he kinda just looked like every mediocre Washington quarterback before him.

Jayden was out there balling like Patrick Ramsey [derogatory].

If Jayden plays like this the rest of the year—then his overbearing mother will finally get to take a break from scaring the hoes away.

No one wants to sleep with a loser.

I am saying this from experience.

30 years of experience. Trust me.

Girls don’t like losers.

The Packers start the year 2-0 for the first time since 2020 while the Commanders are bending the knee and basically allowing the Philadelphia Eagles to once again take the NFC East.
