jacob Misiorowski
MLB

23-year rookie, Jacob Misiorowski, had to defend home court last night against Clayton Kershaw and the 56-win Los Angeles Dodgers.

It didn’t start off great…

Shohei Ohtani hit a lead-off homer off the rook.

It was Ohtani’s 31st bomb of the year, the most by any Dodgers hitter before the All-Star break.

Just a GOAT eating a can or whatever goats do.

That would not happen again.

Not with the Miz out there.

Misiorowski locked the fuck in and struck out the next 3 batters after giving up that explosion to Ohtani.

Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman and Andy Pages were escorted to their seats.

Grand opening, grand closing.

Here’s how Jacob Misiorowski helped the Brewers secure a 3-1 victory over the best team in baseball:

  • 6 innings
  • 4 hits
  • 1 earned un (the Ohtani homer in the 1st)
  • 1 walk
  • 12 Ks

Misiorowski’s first 7 outs were strikeouts.

21 of his fastballs hit 100mph.

Here’s what Clayton Kershaw said about pitching against Miz:

“I know him now, huh?” Kershaw said Tuesday. “That was super impressive. That was unbelievable. It was really special. Everything. Obviously the velo, but he’s got four pitches, commands the ball. I don’t know how you hit that, honestly. That’s just really tough.”

Jacob Misiorowski only has 5 career Major League starts.

He’s 4-1 with a 2.81 ERA and has only given up 12 hits in 25.5 innings pitched.

Miz has wins over future Hall of Famer Clayton Kershaw and fellow young demon, Paul Skenes (although, everyone has wins over Paul Skenes).

The Milwaukee Brewers have unleashed hell upon the rest of the league and I’m not exclusively talking about Misiorowski.

Enter Andrew Vaughn

Andrew Vaughn has played two games with the Brewers.

Just 5 at-bats.

And he has 2 hits and 4 RBIs—one of those hits being the aforementioned homer in his first AB with the club.

Here’s what Brewers manager, Pat Murphy, said about the arrival of Andrew Vaughn:

“He doesn’t know anybody in our organization, we just picked him up and sent him to Triple-A. It was kind of a big deal, media-wise, because Vaughn has a history in the big leagues and has done well. But to have him show up first day, not know anybody at noon and then he’s in there and then get a huge hit in the first inning to open things up, is a great way to say ‘here I am'”

Milwaukee is putting together a team of sickos.

Jacob Misiorowski gets his first career call-up to the big leagues, blacks out, and instantly becomes one of the most flamethrowers in the sport.

27-year-old Andrew Vaughn, who spent 4 years on the White Sox with some decent seasons over there—including a year with 21 homers and 80 RBIs—had to toil in Triple A all season, but the moment he gets his first shot back in the pros, he punches balls across the park.

The Brewers are now only 2.5 games behind a LOADED Cubs team and they’re one win away from sweeping the Los Angeles Dodgers and extending them to a 6-game losing streak before the All-Star break.

Buy all the Brewers stock now before the tariffs hit.
