Donald Trump is attempting to jolt awake a sleeping planet—lulled to bed by wokeness—into a new world where America is the strongest power—but you have to crack a few eggs to make an omlette—and in this case, Trump has to collapse the entire global economy with random, arbitrary tariffs that will make almost every product more expensive.
The goal is to bring jobs back to America—even though America simply does not have the internal infrastructure in place to suddenly transplant all foreign factories onto our soil—but that doesn’t matter.
America first, baybeeeeee.
But Jeff Bezos is actively working against the Trump administration to undermine a plan that’ll save this country.
Punchbowl News reported that Amazon “doesn’t want to shoulder the blame for the cost of President Donald Trump’s trade war.” The report cites an anonymous source claiming Amazon will show customers “how much of an item’s cost is derived from tariffs—right next to the product’s total listed price.”
On Tuesday, the White House called Bezos’s actions “political and hostile” and they’re absolutely right.
How dare Jeff Bezos inform his customers how much extra money they have to spend because of Trump’s tariffs, after Trump spent months lying and saying other countries will be paying those new taxes?
Yes, these tariffs almost exclusively negatively affect consumers while American companies just raise their prices to account for the new taxes they must pay on foreign goods.
It’s almost as if these tariffs don’t create American jobs at all and instead, these tariffs simply make everything more expensive.
Only time will tell what may be blatantly obvious to some.
In the meantime, we can’t have guys like Jeff Bezos going rogue against our dear president’s orders.
Whatever Donald Trump says, we must all abide by, unquestioned.
Just like Jalen Hurts not attending the Eagles Super Bowl White House visit, Bezos’s actions are an act of treason.
I expect his hanging to be national televised by the end of the week.
